Would Du like to live during this time as a young adult?

I would definately liked to have lived in the Victorian era.Especially at Weihnachten time that era has Weihnachten written all over it.Yes i think times would have been harder but i think family values would have been Mehr important than they seem to be today !

Sometimes I feel like I would, but most of the time I am glad I live in today. The nice thing about our time, is that a person can research and be influenced Von whatever past era one wants. I also am interested in many different past eras, and I like to see them mingle together in my mind. I like that even though those times are gone, I can incorporate their combined style and essence into my life, my dress and my living space; this makes me very happy. But I am also glad to have access to modern conveniences like tampons and internet XD

yeah.sometimes i think about it. but then..i think i prefer to live in this way.i mean,i think i have alot of ideas which is cant be manifested if i live in that era. Cos the rule were just too straight and especially woman,must to obey that all. How ever,i Liebe the way they dressing,the interior of their home,and yeah,straight rule made them reguraly do what they have to do.soo they are in one track.Oh yeah and they respected nature so much. :)

It would be interesting for a Monat oder so... but definitely not for my whole life. First of all, think of how women were repressed back then. I would have to wear a corset - ugh. Secondly, people couldn't get to knowledge as easily as today. Also, medecine wasn't as developed, and homosexuality was considered a crime, and a majority of people lived in poverty, so chances are high I would be one of them.
As for your washing machines argument - you're right, people didn't know about washing machines back then, but they definitely did notice how hard it was to wash all the clothes with their hands.
On the other hand, it would be interesting to see science developing, like people slowly realising evolution is true, and experiencing the roots of that great development of science in the 20th century that led to what we know about the world today. That would be awesome.
