Why would Beck sell his RV?

I'm trying to write a fanfiction, but I don't want him to live in the RV anymore. So that means he has to have sold it. But I can't come up with a good explanation for why he would've done that. Can someone help me?

Actually I'm not positive that it's legal to let your kid live in an RV outside your house in CA. Idk, Du could make it happen for legal reasons though if Du wanted to. oder his parents MADE him.
