I read some of your comments/answers, and I think most of Du totally missed the point of vampires, the point of Vampire is living forever without moving forward, without getting old, staying the same, never moving on, ect and it's to Zeigen us that why would Du want to live forever? people go on and on of how I wish I could live forever without getting old and so on, but the one thing i've learned from being a huge Fan of Vampire is what is the point of living forever? Du can't grow with the one Du love, Du just stay in the same place forever, and forever is a long time and I have learned this lesson from lots of movies, tv show, ect such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Vampire Diaries, Angel(the tv series), Interview with the Vampire, and lots more. I think Twilight destroyed the point of Vampire and does not teach any lesson what so ever, now I never read the Bücher so I can't judge the books, but I have seen all the Filme and I have learned absolutely nothing except for how to have extremely weird and awkward sex!

Absolutely not. When Du are a vampire, it is as if Du are a parasitic imitation of what it is like to be human, a monster in the guise of a man. Imagine the experience: living a normal life, only to have that be taken away Von a simple bite on the neck. The abhorrent act of syphening blood from the race Du were once apart of is essential to your survival. Try to comprehend the crushing self-loathing and horror that must come with becoming such a creature. And, depending on the legends, Du either stay the same oder start to rot as time passes, either scenario sounds equally unpleasant.

What I am saying is that becoming a blood-sucking, soulless entity sounds to me like a curse rather than a romantic fantasy. If i were ever bitten, i would probably instruct someone to kill me properly to avoid such a horrid fate.
