I think this is one of the things we have to wait and see about- I'd rather they stick to the book but it just might not work the same as in a literary context.

I hate it! It's literally just so Rob can have more screen time so more screaming girls will flock to the cinema to see it because "Edward is hot."
It might work, it's just that I have absolutely no faith in Chris Weitz after what he did to Northern Lights/The Golden Compass.
Then again, the only reason Twilight was so different from the book is because the script-writer is apaulling. A director can only direct what's written. Clearly Melissa Rosenberg has a thing for RPattz.

I would have been happy with the voices. At first I didn't really agree with the whole vision appearing thing because it was really different from the book and like most fans I would like them to stick to it. But now that I've thought about it. I don't really mind the idea and I can kind of see how it could work on screen since a book is always going to be different from a film. I do agree with katiecain that it's just one of those things that we have to wait for and see for ourselves, then make a decision on that.

I really lioke the idea, especially bcause we will see more of Edward in New Moon. The director did this on purpose, just because he wanted to indulge all the fans, the ones that didn't like New Moon 'cause Edward wasn't that much, so he did it only with that objective.

I think it's wrong if he is doing it because of that. The whole point of New Moon is that Edward ISN'T there. There are plently of people who like New Moon the way it is and they should just stick with the book.

ROBERT PATTINSON IS AGAINST IT TOO. He said when Edward comes back it won't be as powerful....

It's so stupid and ruins it, they're just doing it because with out there wouldn't be much Rob/Edward, what like 10-15 minutes in the beginning and the same in the end.
