I stopped paddleing for a momment and watched Jacob paddle around me. I started to laugh when out of the corner of my eye I noticed a silver volvo driving up to the strand parking lot.

"Oh no." I gasped and taube into the water. I held my breath for as long as I could but I had to come up for air.
