"Oh for goodness sakes, Emmett, just stand up already!" Edward hissed from underneath him. "Not until Du come to your senses!" Emmett said. Rosalie ran across the room at an almighty speed just as Edward reached out to grab Emmett, and she thumped him on his chest. "ENOUGH!" Esme spoke for the first time in the whole 7 and a half hours we'd been here. Everyone turned to look-even Emmett. "This is madness! Emmett, Du and Emmett are the closest of brothers- so why throw away all of that time on one stupid decision? Edward, I want Du to stay as much as Emmett, maybe even more- but if Du think for one Sekunde I would hold Du back from your-" She stopped. No one really could understand what it was he wanted to accomplish. Especially not Emmett..
Just then the phone rang, and I went to answer it. Bella's voice answered my dull 'Hello' on the receiving end of the telephone. "Carlisle! Alice phone to tell me Edward was.. was.." She hissed, "Joining the Volturi. Please, Carlisle, wait for me to return. I need to reassure him!" I agreed. There was hope. Of course each vampire in the room had heard our conversation, so as soon as I hung up the phone they all turned to stare at me. "She's coming." Edward trilled to himself. "Don't get your hopes up pal," Emmett said, thinking Edward was speaking to him, "Bella might let Du down again."
Edward threw himself down the stairs and stood expectantly at the front door. Emmett had decided to let him go- at least for now anyway, just whilst Bella is here. But when I sniffed I got a whiff of Hunde breath. Jacob was here, and he'd brought Renesmee with him. Where was Bella? I heard Edward sigh. "Where's Bella, Jacob?" I asked as he walked through the door, Renesmee on his tail. "I thought she was coming.. we all did." I said, blatantly staring at Edward. Then Renesmee tittered over to me and spoke clear as day, "Carlisle, I'm afraid Mom had some trouble in getting here. Du see- she's had a little trouble. Involving one certain Jane of the Volturi." She hissed the name out. Just then Edward collapsed to the ground. Jane.
