I felt warm arms around me, and groggily opened my eyes.
'Jake?" I asked. What was he doing at the Cullen house? and then I remembered what happened last night. The hole that had been closed long Vor ripped open in my chest.
"Oh Jake," I sobbed, and the flung myself in his chest, crying.
"Bella?" he asked, mystified. "whats up?"
It hurt to say his name, but I finally choked it out. 'Edward," I wailed, and then buried my head into his chest again.
He let me stay like that for a few minutes, until I finally stopped sobbing.
"Jake, how did Du find me?" I asked, wondering how he had dared to go so close to the Cullen house.
He seemed slightly uncomfortable. "Well, I was running patrol, a bit outside the boundry lines-"
i cut him off. "A BIT, Jake, Du were practically knocking on the Cullens front door"
He shrugged. "Anyway, I caught your scent, and then I heard something collasping. I raced, and Du were there, just laying down. I thought Du were dead, Bella. What happened to you?"
Now it was my turn to be uncomfortable. "Nothing." I lied. He seemed to sense my hesitation to discuss the subject, and quickly changed it.
"Quil's been hanging down a lot a Claires place latley. Du know, since he imprinted."
I laughed, grateful. and quicklylaunched into a discussion with him. At the end though, I had to ask him something.
"Jake, can I stay with Du for a while?"
"sure," he agreed all too quickly. and I laughed again.

It was hard seeing the Cullens again. I couldnt avoid seeing them, at school, their stares were always on my back. All but one. I couldn't face Edward anymore, knowing the pain I had caused him.
At the docters office, Carlisle never treated me coldly, like I thought he might react, but his eyes pleaded with me to come back.
I didn't hurt myself so much anymore, and if I did, I tried to avoid him.
When I went Home from school, in my truck, a silver Vovlo followed me until I hit the border line.
When I was sleeping, i saw him in the trees, watching my every move, waiting for me to open my window back up.
It was hard.
