Comparing her fame to the life of a vampire, the actress says her life is "sad and desolate" similar to Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009). Stewart also went on to tell Contact Music, "Edward is actually a really good parallel for fame. As a vampire he has a sad, desolate life and fame is the same." The actress who must constantly hide in the shadows of her own life feels a strong connection with the isolated Vampire in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga.
Stewart also went on to talk about how she does not want to be viewed as a movie star, sterne but instead an actress. The star, sterne said, "I don't want to be a movie star, sterne like Angelina Jolie. Nothing about being a celebrity is desirable. I'm an actor, it's bizarre to me that everybody's so obsessive." Always trying to live outside the limelight, Stewart throws herself into a variety of roles that she picks, and unfortunately for her, emerges as a movie star, sterne to the public.
Stewart adds some insight to the pain and anguish that Bella schwan feels when Edward Cullen breaks her herz and leaves her in the meadow. Stewart said, "The worst thing about a break-up is not losing someone, but being told you're wrong. Du don't trust yourself anymore. In the first movie Bella unabashedly followed her guy. Then in the Sekunde one she's like, 'I don't know why I've done this because it's been wrong,' and that I can relate to." New Moon hits theaters November 20th nationwide.
