*Edward’s pov*
I heard a knock from the door.
“Can I come in?” Alice asked.
I took a deep breath.
“Sure. “ I said.
Alice opened the door. Her face was expressionless. She sat beside me.
“How are you?” she asked.
“Not so good, “I whispered.
“I’m sorry.” She said, sadly.
“I told you, Du don’t have to blame yourself. It’s not your fault.” I told her.
“It’s not yours, either.” She said
“Yes. it is.” I muttered.
“So are Du going to tell me what happened? oder I’m going to guess?” she asked.
“Do Du know Ashley Walker?” I asked her.
“Nope.”
“Well, she’s my high school best friend when I was still human at Chicago.” I started.
“And?” she asked.
“She was also a victim of the disease. I thought she died first because she didn’t Zeigen up since Carlisle changed me. I wanted to find her but I was told Von her mother that she had died.” I said.
“So,” Alice waited.
“I saw her. She’s alive. She told me that she was also bitten Von a vampire. At first, I didn’t believe her until she showed me the scar. Ashley’s parents were my father’s best friend. Our parents wanted us to be together and they even made an arranged marriage. Like Tanya, Ashley showed some interest to me. But I didn’t Zeigen her any. She went out the room and leaved me alone so I can rest.
I looked back at the places where Bella usually stay. I’ve decided to went downstairs to the living room because I want to seek some advices from Esme.
Everyone was looking at me.
All of a sudden, Carlisle’s phone buzzed.
“Hello?” he asked.
We waited and then he shouted.
“What?! Okay, were coming. Thank you.” He sagte as he ended the call...
“What happened, Carlisle?” I asked.
He looked at me.
‘Jacob called me, Bella had just fainted.’ He thought.
“What?! How could that be?” I asked.
‘I don’t know either, let’s go.’ He thought as he went out the door.
I was about to follow him but then Alice spoke.
“I’ll come with you.” She said.
I nodded.
“How about us?” Emmett asked, he’s thinking of a fight.
“Don’t worry Emmett; it’s not about a war.” I sagte as I went outside.
I drove quickly. We reached Charlie’s house immediately.
We entered Bella’s room. I saw her on the bett with Jacob sitting beside her.
“Bella?” I asked as I shook her slowly. I sat at her side.
“What happened to her?” Alice asked.
“I don’t know. She called my name and when I looked back at her, she fainted.” Jacob sagte worriedly.
“How could that be Carlisle? Vampire don’t faint and they don’t even felt dizzy.” Alice said.
“Well I guess, it’s not about her Vampiric nature.” Carlisle said.
“What do Du mean? I asked.
“We all know that she’s physically strong. Even stronger than Emmett. But Vampire do have their weaknesses, Edward. Like me, my weakness was Esme, Alice’s weakness was Jasper, Rosalie’s weakness was Emmett and Bella’s weakness was… you. Yes, she is physically strong, but she’s emotionally weak. Do Du remember when Du thought that she’s dead? Du went to Italy to provoke the Volturi to kill Du without even having a Sekunde thought. You’re out of your mind. All Du wanted was to be with her and to make her happy because your weakness was Bella. It’s the same thing. When she thought that Du don’t Liebe her anymore, it broke her herz so much. Jacob suddenly spoke.
“How can Du do that to her?” he asked me.

“I thought Du Liebe her.” He said.
“I do.” I told him.
“But why?” he asked.
“I don’t know. I really don’t want to do this to her.” I sagte as I took a deep breath.
“But – “Jacob was about to speak when Alice cut him off.
“Enough. Edward, I think Du better go out. She’ll be awake in less than 5 minutes. She doesn’t want to see you.” She sagte sadly.
I kissed Bella’s forehead. And I walked away. I stopped at the door and looked back to her. I sighed and continued to walk.
“I wanted to talk to her, alone. please.” Alice told Jacob.
“Sure” he sagte as he went out with Carlisle.
