His words froze me. The confused expression stayed on my face. I took a quick glance around the room and my eyes rested on Jacob. His face held enough worry for the both of us.
    “What did she see Renesmee doing?” My mom whispered to my dad before anyone else could. She had always worried about everything I did. Overprotective I’d say. This time, overprotection wasn’t the case. She probably had reason to worry.
    “Bella, keep your voice down. I’ll tell Du what happened when Charlie leaves.”
    Alice and Jasper started to clean up the mess on the floor. Esme quickly joined in helping them.
    “Well Alice,” Charlie laughed “guess Renesmee is going without a cake. Too bad, huh.”
    The atmosphere immediately changed as everyone remembered there was still a human in the room who couldn’t know about the Vampire and werewolves. Time went Von very slowly as we waited for Charlie to leave. Eventually he came over to hug me and my mom.
    “Happy Birthday, Nessie.” he sagte to me. As soon as he was safely away from the house, the Fragen erupted.
    “What did Du see Alice?” my mom asked moving to Alice’s side.
    “I saw Renesmee”
    “Yes we know that much, but what did Du see her doing? What happened in your vision?”
    “I can’t be sure. It was very blurry. Fast moving.”
    “What do Du mean?” It was Jacob who asked this time.
    “The vision wasn’t clear. That’s what I mean.” She replied frustrated. Aunt Alice never had much patience for Werwölfe except for when I was being born because I gave her headaches. Now that patience was gone.
    “Alice, I am pretty sure that was in the clearing.” My dad answered Jacob’s question.
    “Yes. Yes, now that I think about it, it was.” She answered. Knowledge lightened her features.
    “What was I doing?” I asked her in a small voice. I was still frightened of something bad happening in my future.
    “You weren’t doing anything. The Volturi were there and…”
    “What?” I asked, scared now. Terrified even. “what happened?”
    “They want Du Renesmee. I saw them taking Du from the field. Except in my vision… Du wanted to go with them.”
    “No! No I don’t want to go!” panic washed over me. “No! They can’t make me I want to stay with Du and mom and dad and Jacob…” my voice trailed off as I looked at the panic struck expressions of the people’s faces whose names I said.
    “Dad? Mom? They can’t make me go… can they?” The confusion of the moment frightened me. Could they make me go? I heard before that there was one of them who could make me want to go with them. Could the Volturi take me away from my loved ones?
    “Renesmee, sweetheart, don’t panic now. Your mother’s shield can protect Du from the gift that could change your mind,” my dad answered hearing the alarm in my thoughts. “We won’t let them touch you. You’ll be fine.”
    “Ok. I trust Du all. Are they coming to get me?”
    “Not now. We have about a month. Possibly a bit less.”
    “Ok…ok. No need to worry.” I spoke the words. But I couldn’t convince even myself that this was how I truly felt.
