End of Chapter 12

"Alice just saw Bella jump off a cliff." Jasper said, his tone making me Mehr angry.

I turned back and glared at all of them, none of them were as close to Bella as I was/am. It made me angry that they weren't taking this Mehr serious, how could they all be so rude.

"Someone should call him." Rosalie said, a smile showing.

"NO! No one calls Edward! I have to figure out what happened first." I sagte as I turned and glared at all of them.

"NO ONE CALLS EDWARD! I mean it! Let me find out what's going on, then we can figure out what to do." I sagte as I zipped the luggage closed.

"Alice, don't go." Jasper sagte as he hugged me tightly.

"She's gone, what are Du going to do about it?" Rosalie said.

Emmett grabbed Rosalie Von the shoulders and turned her down the hallway before I could explode and tell her off.

"Please, I have to go. I will be back soon, I promise. I have to go try to help Carlie." I sagte as I kissed him softly.

"You better take Carlisle's car, you'll get there faster. Remember to come back to me, ok?" He asked as he hugged me one Mehr time before flooding the room with Liebe and Küssen me.

"You can't keep me away. I Liebe you." I sagte as I ran out the door, throwing the bag in the passengers seat.

"I Liebe Du too." I heard as I started the car and sped down the road.

[b] Chapter 13 [b]

I sped down the highway, not paying any attention to how fast I was going oder really to the road very much. Driving was Sekunde nature, not something we think about often. I looked down and saw the speedometer past 110 mph, I shook my head and pushed the gas pedal down, trying to make it go faster.

I was about an Stunde outside of town when I suddenly saw flashing lights behind me.

"OH you've GOT to be kidding me!" I sagte as I pulled over.

The sheriff got out of the car and walked slowly to the side of the car. I rolled the window down and looked at the young officer that was walking to the car.

"Good morning miss. Do Du know why I pulled Du over?" He asked.

"Yes, I was speeding. A friend of mine just committed suicide and I was rushing to her parents to be with them." I sagte as I flashed my eyelashes at him.

"Oh I'm sorry, Um..ok. Well just slow down please and be safe." He sagte as he walked back to the car and started off down the road again.

I smiled at myself and sped off again, knowing that I was only a few miles outside of town now. I sped through the town seeing a few faces that I recognized. I didn't realize that I missed this town until now, the small shops, the smiling faces. I couldn't think about all of that now, I had to get to the Swan's so I could talk to Charlie.

I pulled in front of the house and noticed that Bella's truck was missing and so was Chief Swan's cruiser. I parked Carlisle's car on the far side of the straße and climbed out of the car. I walked slowly across the straße and knocked on the door.

No one answered so I let myself in, the house still stint like Bella. I could smell her shampoo and the detergent that she used in the laundry. My herz began to break again, how was I going to explain how I got inside? I figured I could just tell whoever came Home that Bella told me where the key was, and I let myself in.

I sat in the living room waiting for someone to come home. I sat in the chair and thought about everything that had happened. I really hoped that Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper would not call Edward. I know that he had a flair for the overly dramatic and I couldn't think of how he would respond.

I tried looking, but since he didn't know anything, and he was blocking me I couldn't see anything. I kept trying when I heard the sound of Bella's truck driving down the street.

I took a deep breath, wondering who would be driving her truck. I waited in the silence waiting for someone to open the door. It seemed to take whomever it was a long time, I wished that they would just come in so I could figure this all out.

The door cracked open and someone stood in the doorway, the smell of fear was flooding down the hall. I stood up and walked to the entry way, waiting to start my condolences to Charlie when a body flung itself at me.

"Alice, Oh, Alice!" She cried as she flung her body at mine.

I stood there shocked for a minute. How could Bella be here? I know what I saw, she jumped. She jumped off a very high cliff, how is she here hugging me?

"Bella?" I asked confused.

I pulled her into the living room and sat on the couch, sitting her on my lap wrapping my arms around her.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy to see you." She blubbered, the sobs breaking the sentence into smaller fractions.

"It's ok, Bella. Everything's OK" I sagte as I tried to convince her as well as myself.

"Yes." She cried

"Hmmm I forgot how exuberant Du are." I sagte as I looked at her face and the way she was still holding herself together like in my vision.

I couldn't remember the last time I ate, and with Bella sitting on my lap, her blood so close I found myself starting to be distracted. I felt myself stiffen, the smell making my mouth flood.

"Oh." She sagte as she pulled herself away from me, sitting on the couch Weiter to me. "Sorry."

"It's my own fault, It's been too long since I hunted. I shouldn't let myself get so thirsty. But I was in a bit of a hurry to get here." I sagte as I glared at her. "Speaking of which, would Du like to explain to me how you're alive?"

A look of understanding flashed across her face.

"Oh...you saw me fall." She sagte as she swallowed loudly.

"NO" I disagreed "I saw Du jump" I sagte as I looked at her and the way she was sitting. Her face was shallower, she was not eating enough. Her color was pale, and that's saying a lot coming from me, and the way she held herself...it broke my heart.
