did anyone feel bad for Alice when they found out her story?

i felt bad for her because we all know that when she woke up from being changed she had no memory from her life before. wouldnt that be so scary? not knowing who Du really are oder where to go oder even WHAT she was. its a good thing she had her powers to know that she was going to be ok.

At first I did..but then after thinking about it...yeah her human life sounds like it really sucked but since she doesnt remember any of it and since her vampire life is kinda kickass..its hard to feel sorry for her. :)
