Is it just me oder are the trying to make Stefan from vampire Diaries look like Edward?

They do look alike, but who knows, maybe this is payback for Steph ripping off the whole story all together. Vampire Diaries came out long before Twilight was even thought of. So, maybe they are copying Edward's look, but Steph ripped off the whole story, so I think some imagery can be ripped off. Also, Stefan is way better looking with a much better build. Edward is way too skiny for my liking.

I sagte the same thing about Elena ...that they made her a brunette to make her Mehr like Bella....but holy crap...after seeing these two pictures together...yeah they are totally 'trying' to make another Edward....(and so not winning in my opinion! lol)

yea they kinda are making stefan look like edward i mean with the hair and some of the clothes. except stefan is way older than edaward is stefan is aparently like 500 years old and edward is 109 years old but it doesn't really matter i think there both hot don't you

They do look alike, but, I don't think that The Vampire Diaries are trying to copy The Twilight Saga. Yes, The Vampire Diaries were written long before Twilight. But Twilight also isn't a copy-cat like everyone thinks. The meadow scene was inspired from a dream that Stephenie Meyer had. Which would later on turn into Twilight. So they're both original, in my book.

When i first saw Stefan in TVD i thought he and his character is very much like Edward (that was before i knew that TVD Bücher came way before Twilight books)
They both had a dark history where they used to hunt people
They both are protective of their Liebe life
They both feel it will be selfish of them to ask their Liebe to change into Vampire to live with them forever.
I don't think they are TVD is making Stefan look like Edward....it may be merely a coincidence that they both have same style
Anyway i like Stefan Mehr than Edward.....he is Mehr funny and has better personality and seems to have adopted his vampiric traits and dealt with it better than Edward.
In fact i like TVD Vampire Mehr than Twilight vampries as they act Mehr like vampire even if they don't like being one.....Twilight vampries are very strong but they act too human and i feel irritated with it
