*Previously called the book that promised death, but changed it, unpublished it and gepostet it here :)*
Prologue
The girl ran and did not stop, for it would cost her her life. She clutched the book tightly in her hands, keeping them at her sides…hidden. But they knew she had it, and they would not stop for nothing at all.
They will kill her for it and if its in their hands then the world would be doomed. And that must not happen the girl thought willing her legs to run faster.
Although running in a dress that was tied together so hard that she couldn’t breathe didn’t help her at all.
When she was sure she was at a safe, sicher distance she ran straight to the woods and started to work. She carefully wrapped the book in her mothers old cloth and carefully set the book in the old chest.
The girl ran to the edge of the cliff looking down at the intimidating water, taking a deep breath she took the chest and with extra force threw the chest over the cliff. She watched the chest glide in the air before it made a satisfying plop in the water.
She had thrown it hard enough that it went to the deep part of the water she saw the chest inch lower into the water before it disappeared completely.
She contemplated running but before she could even try her actions they were already there.
“Where is it?” One of them demanded, looking angry.
“It is long gone,” the girl sagte calmly, “and forever will be that way.”
“It will be found,” one of them snarled, “we’ll find it.”
“Oh it will be found,” the girl confirmed. “But Von the time it is centuries would have passed and we’d all be dead.”
“Your right about one thing.”
“I am aren’t I,” the girl whispered sadly.
“You’ll be dead Von the time it is found.” One of them men laughed as he pulled out a gun.
“I’m sorry,” the girl whispered as tears fell down her cheeks
The men laughed as the shotgun was fired and the girl fell. As she fell her halskette unclasped and fell to the ocean with her.
The girl couldn’t breathe, she couldn’t survive, even though she struggled. Soon enough the girl had drowned and with her the book. Hidden and Lost in the sea forever.
Until…

Zaria
My names Zaria, yes a peculiar name for a peculiar girl. Don’t judge me because Du don’t know me.
Can Du keep a secret? Well Du sure better can because this is a huge one.
Deal with it.
Before we found that book, we hardly were Friends at all. But after the discovery of a lifetime we got closer. It was our secret no one else’s, we shared a new valuable friendship. Even though that book caused us a lot of trouble, I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Thanks to that book it’s gegeben me a precious friendship that’ll never be broken.
I guess it all started when we went to that trip to that boring museum, that took hours just getting there…
“34 bottles of bier on the wall, 34 bottles of beer…” sang the sad sad uncool teacher trying to be hip Von saying ‘beer’.
My companion who just happened to be paired to sit Weiter to me groaned as the teacher went on.
“Shut up shut up shut up,” she repeated the mantra over and over, her eyes closed and her hands pressed against her in an attempt to block out the noise.
I gazed at her for awhile admiring her natural beauty. The way her dark (real as in not fake) blonde hair curled in expertly bouncy curls, full soft looking lips in a perfect pout (even though she wasn‘t even trying), a soft sweet sounding voice full of light and love, with dark green eyes as a forest, complete with long nice looking lashes.
After a few Minuten I realized that I must look like some creepy stalker so I averted my gaze elsewhere.
One thing Du need to know, I despise field trips with a passion. Even if it’s someplace nice, because no matter how nice it is there’s always a teacher oder chaperone that follows around with you.
And then Du either have to leave real early to get there oder to get out of there, destroying your good time.
So I absolutely despise fieldtrips.
“Are we almost there?” My companion asked the teacher.
“6 Mehr hours,” he replied
Result: all of us groaning.
“What’s the point of having fieldtrips if we don’t even get there,” she mumbled sourly under her breath.
“Tell me about.”
“Huh?” She asked looking at me.
“I sagte tell me about it.” I replied feeling my face get red.
My companion gave me a bright smile, totally changing the stuck up theory I had in my mind.
“Iris.” She stuck out her hand.
“Zaria,” I sagte shaking it.
Iris grinned. “Cool.”
So for the rest of the trip we talked some Mehr until we finally arrived to our destination.
“All right were here kiddo kiddos.” Mr. Wackjob replied gleefully, “now calmly walk out of the best Du over excited teens.”
Iris rolled her eyes as she got up and held out her hand. Smiling, I took it and she helped pick me up from my half Frozen position, and we walked out the bus.
“Iris,” a male voice yelled out
“Alex!” Iris grinned hugging him, “how’s it going buddy.”
“Buddy? Not best friend.” He whined.
“Now Alex we discussed this, I have many best friends.”
“But I’m your Favorit right,” he prodded.
Iris was about to answer until a girl with platinum blonde hair interrupted. “I’m her Favorit best friend”.
“I don’t have favorites,” Iris sagte stubbornly, while Alex and blondy rolled their eyes.
“Stilere and I both know that’s not true.” Alex started.
“And even if it was you’ll still have to choose a favorite,” Stilere finished for him.
It was about that time that the trio had noticed me and they all started talking at once.
“Sorry for my Friends childish behavior!”
“Alex nice to meet you, Du are?
“Do Du want to Mitmachen us while we walk around this ancient kingdom?
They kept going on until I yelled. “GUYS!”
They all shut up.
“It’s okay,” I told Iris
“Zaria.” I told Alex
“And yes,” I told Stilere
They all grinned and shouted as one. “Then let the trip begin!”
A few hours had passed and finally fed up with history we asked the Mr.Wacko if we could go to that strand nearby, the sad teacher sagte yes so enthusiastically, that passerby’s turned their heads in our direction. If there’s one cool about this place, it’s the strand nearby, on oben, nach oben of it is this scary cliff that would be a very long drop. Rumor has it that thousands of years Vor people were killed on that bridge.
We were leaving at 2 AM due to the bus delay so we had about three hours before we had to start running like maniacs to the bus, although being stuck here than on that bus sounds pretty tempting.
After a few Minuten some other kids had joined us, there was about either eleven oder less of us when it happened…the storm.
One Minute it was sunshine and happiness the Weiter darkness and gloom.
Dark clouds started surrounding the clouds some so dark that it would’ve camouflaged with the night. Weiter thing three pairs of lightning followed Von three pairs of thunder and the Weiter thing Du know pouring rain.
It started to get real windy and we all got worried, there was this opening kind of cave thing devoid of any Tiere that we decided to take shelter in. All eleven of us huddled together our wide eyes looking at the harsh storm outside.
Then all of sudden water had invaded our little shelter practically flooding the place and scattering us all around. Iris and I had been taken out of our shelter cave Von a strong wave. Which was all that was in the cave a really big, really strong wave. That carried us all the way to the ocean.
Desperately Iris and I swimmed to the oben, nach oben only to be brought back under. Iris grabbed my hand and started towing me with her to the side than to the top, than tried to approach the surface. It worked.
“Are Du okay?!” She yelled over the deafening noise.
“What happened!”
“I don’t know.”
“We need to-” I trailed off as Iris and I looked to the sky in fascinating horror.
The same three pairs of lightning was coming down to us in slow motion than as if a button was pressed with lightning fast speed and a loud crack of thunder followed Von a huge explosion hit a certain spot in the ocean close to where we were. Now that I look back on it, it was probably the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, if I wasn’t so terrified.
Water feuer and sand mixed together as they flew into the air as one. Followed Von us, screaming all that we were worth. It felt like hours but was only Sekunden until we fell to the dark blue devil of Earth, almost drowning if we hadn’t had the strength to swim back up. The thunder roared on as Mehr lightning hit the water but this time in singles so it had a lesser effect. Struggling Iris and I kept on trying hard as we nearly drowned again.
Suddenly out of nowhere a book had popped up from the sea and frantically we both held onto the book for dear life. Closing our eyes just wanting this to stop! Abruptly the storm did just that, the clouds disappearing into thin air and the rain stopping quickly just as it had come. The storm had ended.
Iris and I stared at each other and then at the sky which had reached a light blue tinge. I’m sure I was crying probably Iris too, but because of the water it was hard to tell.
“It’s morning.”
“We missed the bus home.”
“That storm was hours long.”
“How do we get out of here”
“This is insane!”
We could’ve died, we should’ve died. That storm was like a hurricane oder tornado oder anything! And that storm was so sudden! Where had it come from? What had caused it? Why did it stop so suddenly?
My head was spinning with Fragen from left to right. But one thing for sure was clear.
That book saved our lives.

Power
Du are possessed
Von this world
This so called better future
Is destroying you
At what cost
The fame oder the fortune
It isn't worth it
Haven't Du seen
The corruption
Power brings
Too much of a good thing
Becomes worthless in the end
Don't be like that
Help yourself
Save yourself from this
This unplanned future
Power brings one thing
Death
There is no way around it
It will soon take over
It will become your life
This power that Du long for
Shall be a death sentence for you
I wish Du luck
I hope Du see the way
The way I speak of
How power isn't healthy
And not apart of your diet
Turn away
From the temptation
That power can bring
Forget it
Forget everything
The money
