Chapter 9: I Play Bad Cop And Du Play Good Cop
Faye Martinez and Jason Rivers sat in Mr. Rivers' office in his house. They had readied everything for the interviews they were having that evening. They planned on interviewing anyone and everyone who saw Simone the Tag she vanished. This would take possibly all day. Faye had to literally drag Mr. Rivers from his luxury bett and to his office. He was sitting in the dark, staring out the window, while on the floor. It was ridiculous. Simone always complained about how her father never truly loved her. It is obvious now how much he truly cared for Simone. It was Serena's idea for them to do the interview. She probably wanted Mr. Rives to do something.
When Faye found out they would be interviewing the new pastor, Shawn, she dressed for it. She wore her Favorit white halfter oben, nach oben and white rock that reached to her knees. She had light rosa vest over the white shirt. To make the outfit even Mehr stunning the had her white heels that showed how awesome her legs looked that was from years of sports. Then her brown hair was curled and pulled into a ponytail. She looked great. She didn't have an excellent selection of makeup so she thought it would be okay if she borrowed something that Simone owned. She asked Mr. Rivers and he simply murmured something about how Schokolade belongs at the oben, nach oben shelf and not in the trash. Helpless was the only word Faye could think of to describe the man before her.
Mr. Rivers had his hair messy cute which made him Mehr dashing. He didn't really realize his charm he had. Faye forced him to wear fresh clothes. He wore a light rosa short and dark blue jeans. These pants didn't have any holes on them. She had to scrub his face clean of any tear stains that wasn't an easy job since he would go right back to crying. His eyes were still red because couldn't do anything about that. All in all, he looked like the charming man he once was and could be.
Shawn Carter, a.k.a the pastor, was the first to come for his interview. Faye couldn't take her eyes of his amazing features. She couldn't help it. He was perfect, almost too perfect. Was it legal to be that perfect? His light blue eyes swept her off her feet. His hair that shaped perfectly made her faint. She hoped Simone was not interested in him already. Faye would hate having to fight over him. He sat in a sitz near to Jason, who was currently glancing at a picture of Simone. Shawn wore a plain white hoodie under a puffy jacke that looked Mehr like a lifesaver. Flawless.
"Thanks for coming, I'm Faye and this is Jason Rivers," introduced Faye.
"Shawn Carter, pastor at Jordan Grove Baptist Church." He held out his hand and Faye shook it. It was remarkable that she didn't pass out into a coma.
"Okay Shawn," began Mr. Rivers. "What do Du remember the last time Du saw Simone?" Jason pulled out a legal pad with a pen. He could gather a little bit of energy and try to figure out his daughter's kidnapping.
"Well, we were discussing meeting up at McDonalds." He flipped his wavy, blonde hair out of his eyes. "She wanted to talk about the wonders of God. Just before I left I thought I saw a . . . Du know what, it's nothing."
"What? What did Du see?" Faye prodded. It wasn't because of she was interested in the story. It was because she wanted to hear him talk some more.
"I thought I saw a black minivan. Weiter thing I know a giant guy leaped out and Von then, I had already pulled away."
The Weiter person to come was Mrs. Auth, the children's teacher. Mrs. Auth works with children and teens in the middle of church. They talk about various things related to the Bible. She must have seen Simone. Mrs. Auth is a lot of things and an observer is one of them.

"I remember her texting a lot during my class." Mrs. Auth shook her head in disgust. "I managed to read one. It sagte something about I can't wait to meet you."
We made a breakthrough. "Do Du know anything else?" I questioned?
"Nope, am I done here?" She huffed.
"Yes."
Lauren, Serena, and Sidney traveled to the police station. They needed Mehr information on the accident and hopefully be able to examine the body. They wasn't expecting to receive a lot of information but they still should try. They knew Brunswick police were never the ones who would spill tons of info on a case.
Police Eric was the only one available for them to talk to. Everyone else was attending to their one business. "I don't know about that," He sagte doubtfully.
"Can't we just see the records?" begged Lauren.
"No and that is final," He shuffled to his schreibtisch to complete some paperwork. Sidney turned away. Lauren and Sidney watched in amazement as Serena crept behind him and knocked him over with a bat she found Von one of the cages. She motioned for us to guard the door to his office and pull the curtains on every window.
Serena went through every single file until she found the one she was looking for. She settled in one of the nearby chairs. Lauren and Sidney came to see the file. It read:

Ya tell me,
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All Tag long, all Tag long
What makes Du think you're so damn awesome?
Don't ya know we have a life too, too?
We'd be sittin in watching TV
And I don't think Du want that either
So what the heck can we do?
We're not just mindless robots with nothing else to do
We don't have time for homework
We just wanna have fun, fun, fun
We have a life, no time for homework
We can go ahead and play flag football
But I'm not goin inside
Why do Du act like
There's nothin else better than
Doin homework all night long
I bet Du never liked that when Du were young
We've been playin outside
Now it's time to kick in and relax
No Mehr time for homework, just sit back and do the things I Liebe to do
Cuz I gotta enjoy my life when I'm young.
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All Tag long, all Tag long
