Chapter 5
Let’s get started
We were standing in front of a big boat, but it wasn’t the one Dorothy visited, I knew that for sure. We were at the docks, were a lot of boats are at, I’m surprised there’s so many. But as I inspect all of them, none of them were the one I hoped.
The boot smelled like a ton of fish, and on the corner I could just make out a small pile of dead fish, whoever owned this boot must be careless.
“This your boat?” I asked politely, trying not to wrinkle my nose as the smell increased with each step we took.
“My uncle’s,” Cadence replied. “As Du can see he’s a bit of a slob.”
I nod as I follow him inside the boat, it looks like a small cramped home, meaning that his uncle must live on this boot while fishing too.
A man with graying hair stood with his back to us, inspecting something, muttering what sounded distinctly like Russian. Cadence cleared his throat and the man whirled around quick, but his defensive position soon relaxed when he saw his nephew.
“Cady!” the man yelled happily, pulling the boy into a hug.
“Cadence,” he replied annoyed, but he was smiling. The man noticed me and whistled. “Who’s this pretty fellah.”
“Uncle Rob meet Destiny Lorean,” Cadence said, while gently pushing me closer.
“Nice to meet you.” I sagte politely, shaking his hand.
“The pleasure is mine,” Rob replied. “It’s nice to see pretty things then dead fish.”
Cadence rolled his eyes. “Destiny’s asked help from me for her sister’s case, and there was rumors she visited here.”
“Loreans?” Rob questioned, then his eyes lighted up. “The family of the young woman who visited here, yes she did.”
“You remember her?” Cadence asked astonished, “you don’t remember anything.”
Rob gave his nephew a stern look. “Just cause I’m older doesn’t mean I’m dumb, that girl always visited those people, partiers they were. Toilet papered all the boats.”
“Dorothy hung out with them?” I asked, shocked. “When?”
“About every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, if I’m correct, why?”
“Dorothy told me she went to these special yoga classes those days,” I told them.
“Well then,” Cadence interrupted my thinking. “Let’s get this mission started.”

Ya tell me,
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All Tag long, all Tag long
What makes Du think you're so damn awesome?
Don't ya know we have a life too, too?
We'd be sittin in watching TV
And I don't think Du want that either
So what the heck can we do?
We're not just mindless robots with nothing else to do
We don't have time for homework
We just wanna have fun, fun, fun
We have a life, no time for homework
We can go ahead and play flag football
But I'm not goin inside
Why do Du act like
There's nothin else better than
Doin homework all night long
I bet Du never liked that when Du were young
We've been playin outside
Now it's time to kick in and relax
No Mehr time for homework, just sit back and do the things I Liebe to do
Cuz I gotta enjoy my life when I'm young.
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All Tag long, all Tag long
