My reason behind Trent wanting revenge on DxG

NOTE: Before Du Kommentar (in an angry way), I am only bringing this up one last time. It constantly bugs me that Trent went crazy to get Gwen back when she was bonding with Duncan. If Trent and Courtney have the same problems, Duncan and Gwen, then they will agree to fight back.

STORY: This is my first, and hopefully only, rant about my problems with "Total Drama". If Du can't stand my words, the back button, oder the X for exit are both available. It's been bothering me for the past three years (2009-2012). It focuses on Trent's conflict on Duncan and Gwen. It's mainly because of their dating, making him paranoid. This is the main reason why Trent should get revenge on Duncan and Gwen. Another reason being Courtney. She may have the same problems as Trent (i.e. betrayal of the ex's: Duncan and Gwen), and she sweared revenge in TDWT.

Hello? Doesn't Trent hate Duncan and Gwen, just like Courtney?

We go a little back to TDA. Gwen went behind Trent's back and got closer to Duncan. This made Trent paranoid. He wanted to keep his relationship with Gwen healthy Von going crazy (in nines, and Gwen) and throwing his team's challenges. This made Trent miserable, as he was eliminated because of Gwen.

In the Weiter season, Courtney sees the same thing Trent did: Duncan and Gwen growing closer. However, she acts as worse as Trent did in TDA, Von giving Duncan and Gwen swollen eyes (1. Dumped spaghetti punched Duncan in the eye, and kicked him in the groin; 2. Chris rigging the challenge, led to Gwen getting swollen eyes from the allergy).

However, I am reasoning why I am making Trent OOC/a demonizing vengeful monster/Courtney alike/TDI Version of Beatrix Kiddo in form of an essay; I am frustrated about Trent being hurt Von Duncan and Gwen. The main reason why I thought Trent wanted revenge on Duncan and Gwen is because Courtney, experienced the same problem as TDA Trent, did the same. That's why Trent should get revenge. End of Story.

P.S. I'm sorry. I'm just tired of this.

iPsychic I agree with this. This is what I thought why Trent went 'crazy' in TDA. :)

AlarconHills I didn't watch that much of TD; Flanderization. I can forgive since the connection of this site, from my computer, is fixed.

bakes2389 I'm sorry, but Courtney is the only one who hates Duncan and Gwen because they both got together in TDWT when Duncan was still with Courtney. Trent was paranoid when he thought Gwen was going to leave him for Duncan. This made Trent jealous. He threw challenges to try and win back Gwen (even though she had no feelings for Duncan...at the time). Gwen didn't approve of Trent's behavior and paranoia. That's why they broke up. Gwen started to have feelings for Duncan and by TDWT she had a crush on him. Trent didn't want revenge. He is a better person than that. Revenge is not in his nature. He and Gwen are STILL FRIENDS, as seen in the TDA and TDWT aftermaths. Courtney is the ONLY one who wanted revenge on the new, happy couple. I'd like to add that there is no need for revenge whatsoever. Trent acted foolish and blew his relationship with Gwen on HIS OWN. Same with Courtney. SHE TREATED DUNCAN TERRIBLY. This is why they are single now. (But again this is my opinion.) Lastly, Trent was seen in his new band, and he also had many girls after him, including Sadie and Katie. In the long run, Trent has it pretty good. Girls still want him, he seems happy, and is still friends with his ex. Courtney may be by herself, but I'm sure she could lure in Trent or Alejandro or even Justin for that matter for herself. No need for revenge.....just move on. But that's my thoughts on this matter.

AlarconHills ^I tried getting back in TDI (for nostalgic reasons mostly), but it's not my thing anymore after TDROTI ended in France.

mastertj87 O.K. I've seen this coming and I've been waiting for some comments like this for a long time. First of all, I've got to say, bakes2389, you're wrong about Trent not wanting to get even with Duncan. Why, because you've got to look deep into the character's heart and mind to see just how much he really wants his ex-girlfriend back. Second, if you looked at TDROTI episode 1 carefully, you will notice that before the new contestants come to the island, the others are having a party on board their ship home. And all but 2 of them are having a really good time. The two that I speak of are, of coarse, Courtney and Trent. Third, AlarconHills, I agree with you all the way, because I too believe that eventually, Trent will get back at Gwen for breaking his heart. However, it won't be because of revenge, it'll be because he won't like seeing them together anymore. And if he does, it will seriously break Gwen's heart to have to loose a good friend and a would-be lover in her life. I know I'm not psychic but this is something that believe deeply. Besides, you know what they say, "you've got to be cruel to be kind."

bakes2389 ^ No offense, but Trent is not the revenge type. He had plenty of opportunities to get back at Gwen and get even with Duncan. He never did. In the beginning of TDROTI, Courtney is continuing to be her usual pissy self when nothing is going her way. Trent is not having a good time because KATIE AND SADIE ARE GLUED TO HIM!!!! That would drive anyone insane. I'd just like to add, how in the hell is Trent supposed to get back at Gwen if she doesn't care what he does? Gwen is content with Duncan. She wouldn't care if Trent tried to make her jealous because she is no longer with him! And Gwen is not the type of person who would get upset over losing a friend/ "would-be lover" (even though they're not together). I respect your opinion, but I'm just saying that he has no revenge in his nature. It doesn't make sense.

mastertj87 Oh yeah, that's what you think pal! I mean no offense but you don't know what the writers of this show will have to say about that. Look, I'm just saying that they're probably going to make him way different that the way he used to be. think about it.!

bakes2389 ^^ I have thought about it....they honestly could do that. I'm just saying that I personally don't see it. That's all. Quite frankly, I feel the writers would have already changed Trent, but unfortunately they just threw him aside. ^ That would be a damn good idea.....Justin deserves a good ass-kicking. I think Gwen should join in on that. Justin blackmailed her.....huge asshat in my book.

-Alliances are allowed in FDI, but it is against the rules to make them secretly, All of them must be made under something to do with FDI

Later, (after the teams are made), I will put a Forum post called alliances, where Du can make alliances (there is no fun in making secret alliances that no one can predict).

Although I prefer that no one will make alliances, makes things a lot better.

He's truly a funny character. Even through a lot of the people on this Liste are. His voice and scarseam (sorry if i didn't spell that right) a lot of the time what make him funny and enjoyable character.
