It has to do with her actions and attitude. I can't stand Courtney because of her haughty attitude, her arrogance, and her constant self-entitlement issues that she has had since TDA. I hate her over aggressive personality that comes off Mehr as mean-spirited and ruthless than competitive. I find her whiny at times when things don't go her way, and she has a very overbearing, abusive nature to her teammates, Friends (when she has them), and her Liebe interests. I also hate how manipulative she can be, and I hated how she used both Gwen and Scott in TDAS, after she had just befriended them both. I for one don't approve of her throwing challenges and cheating in the challenge for Al in TDWT. I just think her actions aren't right.....and the sad part is, she never humbles herself and apologizes. And what's even worse, is that she calls others out on their actions, yet is in turn hypocritical as she commits the same acts.
I think it's because of her attitude (especially when she returned in TDA). Some find her annoying because of how she reacted to Duncan cheating on her, her unfair elimination in TDI and so on. I personaly like her just because of her reactions, cause she doesn't let anything stop her.
Story: After watching the promo for TDWT, where Duncan doesn't have screen time, I was like "Since Duncan is out of the image, Courtney might be able to redeem herself". This was true, until Duncan returned and everything went to hell. In TDAS, Courtney made it to the final five without Duncan. When "Sundae, Muddy Sundae" aired and showed Courtney's last-minute derailment, I was like "You're screwing me over again. I thought we were clear on the part where Courtney was able to redeem herself without Duncan in the game. And now, Du want to derail her, again? Du know what? Screw this, and screw anybody who planned on derailing Courtney at the last minute!"
Because of TDA and a lot of people find her to be annoying. I don't, but people feel like that. Many Gwuncan Fans don't like her because of the Liebe triangle.
