"Come on, z. Seriously? There's MORE?" Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo whined to his best friend and Favorit partner, Ziva David.

"Yes, tony. Du promised!" Ziva countered.

"Yeah, Du know that ticked off look Du gave me earlier? I had no idea THIS was the kind of help Du would be needed. I thought it would be Mehr like Du know, shoulder to cry on, beating up jerky guys, that kind of thing. I didn't realize THIS was the kind of crisis you'd be having."

"Fashion emergencies are just as important as the rest, Tony!" Ziva smirked.

"Yeah, tell that to my arm! I'm going to have a permanent bruise from all these bags you're making me carry." tony responded.

"Hey, Du helped me find some Mehr jeans, didn't you? Du should be happy. What's that phrase? Mission accomplished," Ziva grinned, brimming with pride for finally finding the combo of words she was looking for, "I told Du I'd make it up to Du later, did i not?"

"Yeah, but Du didn't tell me how!" Tony pressed.

"I felt it best to leaving that up to your imagination," Ziva teased, quickening her pace, forcing him to follow her passed the crowded, wide row of stores that lined the mall.

"Oh, the sacrifices i make for my partner," Tony retorted, jumping at the chance to let his imagination run free with her. "Hey, slow down, my ninja. I just got a text from McGee. He told me to get back to the headquarters asap. And bring you," Tony explained, his mood swing, schaukel as schnell, swift and sharp as the changing tide.

"Is it a case?" Ziva wondered.

"No, he wouldn't have had us go back to the headquarters. We have our field packs, we'd just go straight to the scene. No, this is different. This is big."

They made their way through the traffic with ease, thanks to their badges. Once they got to the headquarters, they found a very disturbing scene. Nobody was shouting, nobody was working. The only audible noise was the hushed whispers of secrets ripping throughout the floor, all directed toward the pair of agents walking out of the steel elevator.

"Seriously? I get dragged out here on a weekend, now i have to put up with whispers? Again." Ziva softly stated toward tony. "Whoever did this is going to pay. Large time."

"It's big time, and only if i get to watch." Tony joked, trying to lighten the mood as cold as steel. He was glad she regretted having to leave the mall, though. Even being a bag carrier was bearable if he could steal a few extra moments alone with her.

Suddenly, their no-nonsense, coffee addicted boss appeared before them, coming out of the Multiple Threat Assessment Center.

"Gibbs, what is going on here?" Ziva inquired.

"Come on. Conference room. The both of you. Let's go."

They knew better than to ask any Mehr Fragen before then, so they rushed up the stairs and across the hall into a room with a single, circular schreibtisch and a tv. Once they entered, the man only had one word to say.

"Watch."

The Friends turned their heads toward the TV, where a Berichten was coming on.

"Mossad Director Eli David is making his first trip to the United States in 3 years. Sources say he's coming to dispute legal allegations against a liaison officer binding between his agency and Navy CIS right here in DC. Now over to chuck with the details."---the reporter's voice faded, and the screen went as blank as gibb's stare.

"Ziva, we can only assume this agent is you. Now you've got to tell me. Did. You. Disobey. Your. Orders?" Gibbs asked.

"No! Fine print, and bold. I quadruple checked everything. All i had to do was leave the agency and all orders became obsolete. He's probably just heartbroken and decides to take me to court instead of apologizing. Typical Eli," the exotic beauty, a mix of amusement and fear in her Schokolade eyes, "I cannot, however, be certain what he has over me on a personal extent. Nothing career ending, but enough to make his case semi-court worthy. When does he arrive?" Ziva inquired.

"Let me guess. Any minute?"Tony guessed.

"Yep." Gibbs answered.

"Where's he staying?" Ziva asked, filling a daughterly duty to make sure here dad had adequate accommodations, no matter how crappy he was.

"I hope it's a dirt cell in Africa." Tony stated, and the faintest of smiles graced ziva's porzellan face.

"Nope. It's actually a safe, sicher house in Alexandria." Gibbs informed them.

They rapped up their brief; and went down to the bullpen and charished the calm before the storm.

Four Minuten and thirty six Sekunden later, (Tony had a count going,) a chill ran through the air as a man stepped out of the elevator, and started straight for his daughter.
