Tim burton Gearing up For Frankenweenie in 3D?
A few months Vor we reported that casting was underway for Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, at least until Walt Disney Company sent us a cease and desist letter (super lame). It looks as if we were right as Waking Sleeping Beauty director Don Hahn (executive producer on Frankenweenie) told AICN that "the puppets are ready, the script is done and now that Tim burton is clear of Alice in Wonderland... he's set to helm Frankenweenie in 3D." The 1984 short is one of Tim Burton's earlier films, a parody of the 1931 film Frankenstein based on Mary Shelley's book of the same name. The story tells of a man who brings his dog back to life after it is killed Von a car. I'd rather see this than another obvious choice like Addams Family any day. You?
