This is my review of the casting choices that were made in my Favorit film, The Wind Rises. This review is about the American version of the film. I think that The Wind Rises is the best film so I think Du should check it out.
Joseph Gordon Levitt as Jiro Horikoshi:
I haven't seen that many of Mr. Levitt's films so I wasn't really a Fan of him before watching The Wind Rises. He did a pretty good job in the film. His voice sounded appropriate for his character so congrats.
Emily Blunt as Naoko Satomi:
Emily Blunt became my Favorit actress, because of The Wind Rises. She's amazing as Naoko. She did a impressive job at hiding her nice British voice. The voice she used for Naoko is adorable and good. Emily is awesome in this film.
Stanley Tucci as Giovanni Caproni:
Stanley Tucci is really good at playing Giovanni Caproni. He seemed to be having lots of fun while working on the film, because his voice sounds like it has passion and energy.
Jon Krasinski as Honjo:
Jon Krasinski (Emily Blunt's husband) sounded like a appropriate choice for his character, similar to Mr. Levitt. Not much Mehr to say than that.
Martin Short as Mr. Kurokawa
Martin Short is 1 of my Favorit actors. He seems to put some much effort into his acting. He sounded unrecognizable in The Wind Rises. It took some research for me to find out who he voiced in The Wind Rises.
Mandy Patinkin as Mr. Hattori
Mandy Patinkin did a goods job at playing Mr. Hattori. He has a nice sounding voice.
Werner Herzog as Mr. Castorp
Werner Herzog has a very cool voice that works very good as Mr. Castorp
William H. Macy
William H. Macy is the only actor in the film whose voice was recognizable to me. Mr. Macy has a very charming and eloquent voice so I'm happy that he's in the film.
