Of course bonded together. I'm so tired of this fight over Elena. I mean I really like her, but to be honest I'm not sure if she's worth it. I'm Team Salvatores first, and then Team Stelena. I just want this stupid triangle to come to an end already. Seriously I'm almost praying for Delena to happen (and I am NOT a Delena fan AT ALL), so that they can hate each other at first (obviously) but then realize how much this is stupid, reconcile for good and be awesome bros. (then if Elena could just realize her and Damon don't work and get back to Stefan, it would be perfect :D)

They have a very complicated relationship. They can really be at each others throats. But when it comes down to it, they would probably die for one another. Just look what their relationship has endured. After all that, we still see moments where they genuinely care for one another.
