I first read that in 2005, shortly after I first saw the film. Ever since I've never been able to watch Raoul at Christine's door in the Mirror scene without thinking of him asking if Christine's there with some vampire...
Many other scenes sometimes bring it to my mind as well, but only that Raoul moment never fails.
So, mostly I'm able to view it without remembering the parody.
Anyway, remembering it is not a bad thing at all to me, because i totally love both, the film in a serious way and the parody as it is. x)
