Darry and Dally looked at (Y/N) from the couch. She was talking with Soda on the front porch, smiling, laughing at what he said. They both thought Du had a beautiful laugh, and that Du were completely adorable.
Darry was jealous of Soda, he thought he could take better care of you, provide a better life.
Dally thought he could protect Du more, and Liebe Du better.
Their hearts both broke as Soda leaned down to KISS you.

Du groan and turn over. Du had the flu. Du were really sore,tired, and cold. Du thought nothing could make Du feel better.
“Hey, (Y/N), Du hungry?” Your boyfriend Soda asks from the doorway.
Du shake your head. “I’m just cold.” Du sniffle.
“Well that can be fixed.” He says smiling.
He gets onto the bed, and snuggles close to you, and puts all the blankets on oben, nach oben of you.
“Soda, you’re gonna get sick and…”
“I don’t care… All I care about is you, and that you’re gonna feel better.”
The cars zoomed by.
“This makes me so nervous.” Du say.
“Why?” Soda asks, smiling.
“What if the cars blow up, and we die? oder what if they crash? Or-“
“Hey it’s going to be fine,” He interrupts you. “Have some popcorn.”
“But what if I’m eating popcorn and the cars blow up and we die?”
“Then I’ll blow up and die eating popcorn with the girl I love.”
And he kisses Du on the lips.
“Darry, how do Du feel about kids?” Du ask.
“About having kids?” He asked. Du were nervous.
“Yeah.”
“I’ve never told anyone this really… But it’s been my goal in life to be a better father figure than I ever was to Soda oder Ponyboy… I thought I did a good job, but I know I could’ve done better.” He scratches his neck. “So yeah I’d want to have kids.”
“Well that’s good.” Du smile.
“Why?” He asks. “You aren’t…” He starts, but then looks at you. “You are aren’t you?” His smile lights up the whole room.
Du nod your head. He picks Du up in a big bär hug.
“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 Jahr old daughter. Wow.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.
“I’ll be good, Daddy, I promise.”
I grin. Exactly what her mother sagte to her dad on our first date.
“I know.” I manage to say. “You’re a good kid.”
“Not like Faith,” Grace grins. Oh my Faith. Nine years old and already had a “boyfriend”. She was completely hilarious.
“Not like Faith.” I smile.
I get up off the couch to give her a hug.
“I Liebe Du Daddy.”
“Love Du too, sweetheart.”
“You’re still going to be the first boy I fell in Liebe with.”

Darry’s P.O.V
“Daddy?” Danny asks from the back seat. He was six now, and Olivia was one.
“What happened to your mommy and daddy?” He asks.
I don’t answer for a minute, just keep driving. What do I say?
“My mommy and daddy are hanging out in heaven.” Is all I can think of to say.
“They’re partying with Jesus?” Danny asks. “That’s cool!”
“Yeah, bud,” I smile. “Partying with Jesus.”
“Yes I do.” She says in that you’ve-told-me-a-million-times voice.
“Ok… Well are Du sure Du want to do this?” I ask nervously.
“I’m positive.” She says as she gives me a quick KISS on the lips.
“I swear, if Du hurt yourself…” I shake my head.
The motorcycle starts, and goes forward. Instead of going with the motorcycle., she flips off backwards from it.
I immediately rush to (Y/N).
“Oh my god, (Y/N), are Du ok? Are Du hurt? Where are Du hurt?” I say, head spinning. If she’s hurt badly I’ll just…
“Dally I’m fine.. The motorcycle-“
“Steve can fix the motorcycle. Are Du ok? Where are Du hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?”
“Dally I’m fine!” She laughs.
“You worry me,” I say, as I scoop her into a hug.
