Does anyone know how shadowhunters send fire-messages?? I can't find a good Beschreibung in the books.... Greetings, Hana0807

It isn't entirely clear. All we know is that it works with both ordinary feuer and feuer created Von a rune. My guess would be that they write some sort of message rune on the paper and then burn it.

As far as I have been able to tell, it seems like a Shadowhunter thinks about who they want to get the message then put it under a flame. Thats how I've interupted it to be from the book scenes. Hope that helps.
