It may sound mean, but when I saw the first few episodes I thought Merlin was weird, the only thing I really liked was Arthur and the Swordfighting!!

I fell in love with the show from the first episode, all the characters (okay maybe not Gwen, I thougt she was annoying) but Merlin, Morgana and Arthur all found a part in my heart ;)
The reat of the season just made me love the show and the cast even more. I like Gwen better in season 2, but I think her "make-over" was a bit drastic compared to her maiden clothes from the first season.

I really enjoyed the first episode and started looking it up on the internet the day after i saw it. But i wouldn't call my self a proper fan like I am now at that point. However, after i saw the second, i feel in love, and have been since!

It wasn't until the Series finsihed I became a Hard-core fan....
I am now a DIE-HARD-CORE-AWESOME-CRAZY-OBSESSIVE-#1 FAN!!!!

i went round my friends house and she was watching it, ive been hooked ever since :)

when i saw the first episode i couldn't stop talking about it for ages ive never thought its been a tiny bit bad!!

i didn't see the first series when it was on tv maybe little clips of it cause my parents were the ones who told me i could watch series 2 when it started. now im an over obssessive fan who has to come on the fansites EVERY DAY or will go mad! :)

i think i was slightly too young when i saw the first episoide or something but i've been in love with merlin since i started watching it properly. every character has a place in my heart! XD im on the fansite ALL the time

My mom told me that a new show called merlin was coming on that night, and i said, Oh, I bet that's gonna be stupid... but she said, Oh come on and watch it and I did, and ever since i have been SUCH a HUGE FAN!!!!!!!!!!! I love them all and I have been right with merlin, morgana, arthur, gwen, gaius, uther, and everyone else since the very, very beginning! I love it!

The first few episodes were a bit shaky, but by episode four I was like "Okay, this is getting better," then by episode seven "I was like, alright, this is pretty awesome," then episode eight was just "FUCK YEAH THIS SHOW ROCKS!" :D

Before I saw the first episode my Gran showed my a clip from a magazine about the show, and I was like 'they have all their facts wrong, I mean Gwen shouldn't be a SERVENT!' but when I saw the first episode I fell head over heels!

the advertised da 1st season and i wanted 2 check it out bt i kept forgettin. and da 2nd season looked realy good and i saw the last few minutes of lancelot and guenevere and i thought wow how intriging. so i watched da whole of the 1st season became a fan. and then 2nd season a die hard fan!!!

I started watching only because of the chemistry between Merlin and Arthur, the first episode I saw was The poisoned chalice ;)

I watched it because I was bored and after the second episode I had seen I got totally obsessed :P

I've always loved anything to do with the legend of Arthur and anything to do with Merlin so I typed Merlin into youtube and the first episode of Merlin came up. I watched it and fell in love straight away. I went and bought the first season and then the second season and got completely hooked!!!!:D

As a big Arthurian Legend geek, I've followed the series since season 1, episode 1. :)

I really can't say. When the shob started I watched with my parents, I liked it but it felt a little childish, too. But then months laiter I started to think about Merlin, and I watched all three seasons, and fell in love :). Moust I love Merthur relationship.
