SPOILER!! I taped the episode 'Blinking Red Light' last week, but the recording ended before the episode! Could someone give me a summary of what happened in the end and who the killer was?

The killer was James panzer (not sure of the spelling). Both Patrick & JP went on the Karen kreuz Zeigen and, in reaction to Patrick's comments, JP disrespected Red John live on air. The Titel of the episode refers to the blinking red light of the studio camera indicating the broadcast is live. Red John killed JP & left his signature smiley face.
