Even if Lions are or not your favorite animal you got to admit killing them should never be an answer especially when they're in the endangered category.

I heard of this on the news and the newspaper, me and my mother were sick in our stomachs for this to happen. That poor lion was in agony with an arrow in him for several hours. I hope any carnivore or somebody puts him in a LOT of pain when he gets captured. That son of a b***h deserves to suffer big time!!! I love lions and plus, they're my favorite animal. I hope he dies in hell!!!!

What is worse is that the lion was in illegal hunting grounds and was lured out into legal hunting by having food being tied to the back of their jeep then was shot with an arrow than followed for about 40 hours then shot, skinned and beheaded. I also love lions and I wish they'd throw him in the middle of Africa with nothing but the clothes on his back, and I hope something good comes out of the tragic death of this majestic beast like maybe banning trophy hunting everywhere.

I so agree with you there, nicker11500. I hope he has a painful death by being ripped apart alive by his pride. His poor cubs will be killed by a new alpha leader all because of this stupid cold-hearted a**hole.

Yeah the good people ought to take the cubs and put them at a different location until they're grown and then take them back to their pride if they're female because I doubt the new king would except new males. What also annoys me is that he said "I didn't know it was the lion until it was too late" I smell bullshit because he was payed 50K to kill a lion and out of all places it was a location where the lion was in illegal hunting grounds but instead of leaving he lures it and tried to destroy the tracking collar (that was placed on Cecil by Oxford for research and study) also he should never ever hunt lions or any animal in the endangered column in the first place because if this prick and some of the other poaches, and farmers don't quit they'll make the biggest mistake of their entire family tree and to nature by taking one of the most iconic creatures out of this world even if you're being payed a billion dollars. Lions, rhinos all of the animals has the right to live too, and some people like this no heart bastard don't understand and won't until it's "too late". (pardon my french)
