Maybe, but I think the first Hunger Games and the last book Mockingjay would make the most. Some people may not like the second one not having the other characters. (like if they miss Rue, Thresh, Glimmer, Marvel- anyone who died.) And people will probably see the last since it's the last. I may be wrong (about the ticket sales), but I'll see Catching Fire if they make it into a movie.

I think so. The Hunger Games series hype is just beginning IMO. The release of the first movie introduced thousands of new fans to the series who, even if they didn't show up for the midnight release of the first movie, will show up for Catching Fire and Mockingjay. THG is building momentum the same way as Twilight and Harry Potter.

@MichaelxxRupert: Yeah people fall in love with Rue, but you're forgetting that the main characters are always the most beloved. Polls showed that Katniss, Peeta, Cinna, Gale, and Caesar were the favorite characters in the first movie, and they all will reappear in Catching Fire. People will go to see them. And plus, there are new characters to fall in love with, like Finnick! So the death of minor characters like Glimmer or Cato won't really affect attendance to Catching Fire.

The second book is just as good as the first, but the first will probably the best of the three. I can't wait a year and a half until Catching Fire. Impossible.

Um...the second movie is already in progress.

There is going to be a movie! They already singed in to do the rest of them. They are splitting Mockingjay into two movies.

I have no doubt about it.
