I imagined it as if it was outside. There was grass everywhere but also a glass ceiling. Like a glass house, u know... To keep everyone inside. And there were different sections that the participants tried.

I did NOT imagine it as a dingy bigh tech place. I thought too that it'd be more like the outdoors....Fail on the moviemakers part.

Kinda.. when I was reading the books I kept forgetting it was set in the future, so I imagined it a little less high-techy.

I imagined it like a training center would be in our times. I like their idea of it better, since the books are suppossed to be in the future, after all.

Some of the things I imagined were there but I did like the things I didn't imagined. For instance the platform that made it more awesome!

The book says the following... "The actual training rooms are below ground level of our building. With these elevators, the ride is less than a minute. The doors open into an enormous gymnasium filled with various weapons and obstacle courses." Sounds like the movie version to me and it doesn't sound like the outdoors either. If anything is different from what I imagined it is the outfits they are wearing, but that's just me.
