At first I was like HELL NO! He really was not that good in the The Last Song...how could he be even considered for a movie like this? But then after thinking about it I realized I'm only judging him on one movie that wasn't very good anyway. Its possible he impressed the casting director and had chemistry with JL so I'm gonna give him a chance and reserve judgement until I see a clip or see the movie.

I like the actor, but I'm kinda unsure about him playing Gale. But I'm willing to give him a try. Plus - He's super hot. I think I'm team Gale now!

I think his age is about right for Gale but same with Josh as Peeta he's not really how I pictured Gale, but oh well :\
