Does anyone (but me) believe the current cast they have for "The Hunger Games" might turn out to be a good one?

I think it will be okay. But I really hope that, with all of this team Peeta and Team Gale crap, I just really hope it doesn't turn into just another Twilight. Du know?

I personally think this is a good cast! I'm iffy still on Liam playing Gale, because I ADORE Gale, and don't want him to be messed up. Also, I think that the range in the age of the tributes is good too, and I Liebe how they have aggressive tribute like Clove be a 14 Jahr old, and the others look around 16-18. And I have seen most of these characters Schauspielen before, and I they are really great. Jennifer was excellent in X-Men and Winter's Bone, Josh was great in The Kids Are Alright, Liam in The Last Song, Isabelle was EXCELLENT in Orphan, Alex was EPIC in Race to Witch Mountain, etc :) I think they excellent in casting :) I just hope the movie is good, because I have been waiting. :)

we will have to wait and see for the movie, but i think that most of the cast will be really good, but i think some of the cast really is not a good choice. for example, i think lenny kravitz (picture below) who will be playing cinna, is not a good choice (his "look" is extreamely different to cinna's "look" in the book, in the book cinna is a soft kind person, who might even come across gay, but lenny doesnt seem that way! ) but i think the jennifer lawrence, is a really good choice. its not a good answer but its my opinion

I think the actors/actresses they chose are dead on! Josh Hutcherson's personality is just perfect. The way he says everything with a charming attitude (watch some Youtube interviews with josh in them) And his appearance is exactly how Peeta should look like, strong but sensitive in a way. At first I thought that Liam Hemsworth playing Gale would be a terrible idea, but know I think he is not even that bad, because in the new pictures i think his appearance looks Mehr like Gale now, and his personality is very protective. And i think Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss is a good match too, because her looks are actually dead on Katniss, and her attitude is very serious and her voice is kinda quiet. Personally I think the main characters are perfect :)

Based on the trailers, I'd say Jen Lawrence is a great pick... She's firey and totally likeable in the role. I wish there were Mehr pictures of her as a brunette, though-- google's sea of blonde-haired Bilder are throwing me off. Their Peeta looks perfect, but I don't know anything about the actor. Harrelson as Haymitch is another good fit. I was really surprised Von Elizabeth Banks as Effie, but from what I read, she got really into it. o be fair Gale plays a pretty minor (physical) role in the first book, so I don't know that it matters much who they got to play him. Mehr than the acting, though, I'm anxious to see the costumes and the sets. This movie has such phenomenal potential... if everyone played their cards correctly, it should be gorgeous, gorey, unsettling, and unforgettable. Cannot wait!!!
