"Here you go, Percy," Luke said, handing me a platter of smoked brisket. I loaded my plate and was about to take a big bite
"Percy, you do know the gods take a huge offence to eating before you sacrifice to them," Grover asked.
"If you noticed the book said I was about to take a big bite," Percy answered.
Leo thought aloud, "I wonder who has a bigger mouth, Thalia or Percy."
"Hey, I do not have a big mouth," They both said at the same time. They then looked at each other and smiled evilly. "Leo would you like to see some more of my water abilities," Percy asked innocently.
Leo, oblivious to sicklly sweet tone Percy used, said, "Really, that would be AMAZING!" Percy then made the water from the sink to float in the air. He made it surround Leo. Then he crushed Leo with his water at the same time Thalia sent a shock of lightning through the air at Leo. Everyone's hair stood up, but Leo was the worse. When Percy let the water retreat, Leo looked like one of those mad scientists, whose experiment blew up in their face. His hair was straight up and the rest of the body was black except for around the eyes. He then fell to the ground slighty convolusing.
"Will, will you check to see if he's okay," Annabeth said exasperated.Will got up and walked over and checked his pulse and nodded his head.
Piper said, "Well then. How about we take a break so Leo can go take a bath."
-------- 1 hour later --------
Leo came out of the bathroom, his hair wet and his body back to its normal color. "Lets continue," Rachel said.
when I noticed everybody getting up, carrying their plates toward the fire in the center of the pavilion. I wondered if they were going for dessert or something.
"Really, Kelp Head, thats what you think when you see people going to fires," Thalia said laughing.
Percy looked offended, "Maybe it was smores."
"Thats after dinner, are you sure you got all your memories back," Annabeth questioned.
"Hey, I am arguing for my twelve-year-old self," Percy replied
Thalia smirked, "Holding are we talking about your physical age or your mental age, because that makes a big difference."
Percy got red in the face. He shouted, "Thalia that is it we are going to finish the creek fight right now."
Thalia jumped up, "Bring it on Kelp Head."
Annabeth yelled," Everyone clear the room." They all listened to her advice, except for Thalia and Percy who stood glaring at each. The smell of ozone shot up and the pipes were shaking. Thalia then shot a lightning bolt Percy, which he ducked, scorching the wall behind him. He retaliated by making the pipes burst and controlling the water to make it swirl around him in a hurricane. Thalia kept on trying to hit Percy with lightning but the water just deflected themm to the side. Percy, then made the hurricane change into a big ball of water and threw it at Thalia. It wrapped around her head and started drowning her. Percy realizing what he was doing made the water splash to the ground. Thalia fell down and didn't move. "HELP, Someone help me," Percy yelled. Everyone came running back in. Will run over to Thalia and started doing CPR on her and after a few minutes, she started coughing up water. Percy, calmed down enough, looked around the room and saw the chairs broken against the scorched wall. Pieces of furninture were everywhere. The room was totally destroyed.
----------- 2 Hours Later ----------
Everything picked up enough so they all had a place to sit down on the ground. Percy said embrassed, "I'm sorry again for destroying the room."
"Me, too," Thalia said sadly.
Annabeth said for everyone, "It's okay just please don't do it again."
They said at the same time, "No promises."

Reyna picked up the book to continue reading.
“Come on,” Luke told me.
As I got closer, I saw that everyone was taking a portion of their meal and dropping it into the fire, the ripest strawberry, the juiciest slice of beef, the warmest, most buttery roll.
“Oh, come on!” Leo groaned. “Now I’m hungry.”
The rest of the guys nodded in agreement.
Everyone stood up and made their way to the kitchen.
“What to eat?” Grover muttered looking through the fridge and cabinets.
Grover got out a ton of ingredients and started to cook them.
“What are you making?” Percy asked.
“Cheese enchiladas,” Grover grinned.
Percy rolled his eyes at his best friend. “Of course you are.”
Half an hour later, Grover had all the enchiladas finished and everyone just sat and ate while listening to Reyna read.
Luke murmured in my ear, “Burnt offerings for the gods. They like the smell.”
“You’re kidding.”
His look warned me not to take this lightly, but I couldn’t help wondering why an immortal, all-powerful being would like the smell of burnt food.
“I heard that it actually smells really good,” Annabeth said.
Luke approached the fire, bowed his head, and tossed a cluster of fat red grapes. “Hermes.”
I was next.
I wished I knew what god’s name to say.
Finally, I made a silent plea. Whoever you are, tell me. Please.
“You got your wish,” Jake said.
Percy nodded remembering his claiming.
I scraped a big slice of brisket into the flames.
When I caught a whiff of smoke, I didn’t gag.
It smelled nothing like burning food. It smelled of hot chocolate and fresh-baked brownies, hamburgers on the grill and wildflowers, and a hundred other good things that shouldn’t have gone well together, but did. I could almost believe the gods could live off that smoke.
“Gods, how is it that I’m still hungry.” Travis got up and headed into the kitchen, grumbling.
When Travis returned he had a bowl of popcorn, a root beer, curly fries, Kit Kats, and a hot dog.
“Jeez, is your stomach a bottomless pit!” Katie exclaimed looking at all the food he had.
“Yup,” Travis grinned.
Reyna rolled her eyes at the hungry Greek before continuing.
When everybody returned to their seats and finished eating their meals, Chiron pounded his hoof again for our attention.
Mr. D got up with a huge sigh. “Yes, I suppose I’d better say hello to all you brats. Well, hello. Our activities director, Chiron, says the next capture the flag is Friday. Cabin five presently holds the laurels.”
“You bet we do!” Clarisse yelled triumphantly.
A bunch of ugly cheering rose from the Ares table.
“Ugly cheering,” Clarisse scowled at the grinning son of Poseidon.
“Personally,” Mr. D continued, “I couldn’t care less, but congratulations. Also, I should tell you that we have a new camper today. Peter Johnson.”
“Peter Johnson?” Jason asked confused.
“Mr. D refuses to get our names right,” Annabeth said.
All of the Greek campers who’ve met him nodded.
Chiron murmured something.
“Er, Percy Jackson,” Mr. D corrected. “That’s right. Hurrah, and all that. Now run along to your silly campfire. Go on.”
Everybody cheered. We all headed down toward the amphitheater, where Apollo’s cabin led the sing-along.
“Yeah we did,” Will said.
We sang camp songs about the gods and ate s’mores and joked around, and the funny thing was, I didn’t feel that anyone was staring at me anymore. I felt that I was home.
“Yeah, now he never leaves,” Clarisse growled annoyed.
“Ah, you can never get rid of me, Clarisse,” Percy teased.
Clarisse didn’t say anything, just glared.
Later in the evening, when the sparks from the campfire were curling into a starry sky, the conch horn blew again, and we all filed back to our cabins. I didn’t realize how exhausted I was until I collapsed on my borrowed sleeping bag.
My fingers curled around the Minotaur’s horn. I thought about my mom, but I had good thoughts: her smile, the bedtime storied she would read me when I was a kid, the way she would tell me not to let the bedbugs bite.
Conner snickered. “Mama’s boy.”
“Yeah, I am got a problem with that,” Percy challenged.
Conner gulped and shook his head hastily.
“That’s what I thought,” Percy smirked.
When I closed my eyes, I fell asleep instantly.
That was my first day at Camp Half-Blood.
I wish I’d known how briefly I would get to enjoy my new home.
“That’s the end of the chapter,” Reyna said.
“Sweet, I’ll read,” Annabeth said taking the book from Reyna.

Annabeth glanced at the title. “We Capture a Flag. I remember that!”
Percy rubbed his hands in anticipation. “Great! We get to hear more about how Clarisse got pwned by me!”
Clarisse tried to hit him but missed. Percy grinned.
The daughter of Ares was about to throw some colorful language at him when Annabeth and Chris stopped her.
The next few days I settled into a routine that felt almost normal, if you don't count the fact that I was getting lessons from satyrs, nymphs, and a centaur.
Leo sighed dramatically. “Yes yes. That is so totally normal.”
“Leo!”
“Sorry Piper,” he said, even though he didn't sound very sorry. “Mom,” he added under his breath.
Each morning I took Ancient Greek from Annabeth,
Travis grinned. “So maybe that's how their love started.”
“TRAVIS!!”
Conner giggled at his brother's stupidity.
CRACK!! The Stoll brothers collapsed to the ground.
Annabeth brushed herself off and picked up the book while the others, besides Percy, were staring at her in shock.
and we talked about the gods and goddesses in the present tense, which was kind of weird.
“Yep. I had to learn that when I was three years old.” Jason sighed, remembering the memories.
Frank shuddered. “That's wonderful, man.”
I discovered Annabeth was right about my dyslexia
“Well of course I was right!” Annabeth said indignantly.
Jake snorted. “Never question Annabeth.”
Ancient Greek wasn't that hard for me to read. At least, no harder than English.
“But that's still hard,” Leo complained.
Rachel grinned. “That's the power of a mortal.”
“What about me?” Grover and Frank asked at the same time.
They glanced at each other and high-fived. Rachel rolled her eyes.
After a couple of mornings, I could stumble though a few lines of Homer without too much of a headache.
“Gah,” Annabeth said. “Teaching him gave me a headache.”
Reyna grinned. “I hope he has gotten better.”
Annabeth pretended to think for a while. “Better at speaking, I guess. But not reading.”
“Hey!” Percy yelled. “I've gotten better!”
“Oh yeah? Then read this article!” Annabeth pulled out her laptop and opened to an article. Oh yeah, in Greek.
Percy hesitated. “Uhh..... never mind.”
His girlfriend smirked. “Thought so.”
Reyna glared at them. “Just keep reading.”
The rest of the day, I'd rotate through outdoor activities, looking for something I was good at. Chiron tried to teach me archer,
Thalia shuddered. “Oh dear.”
Nico winced. “Percy is the worst archer EVER.”
Jason raised an eyebrow. “Really.”
“Thanks a lot Death Breath.” Percy glared at his cousin.
but we found out pretty quick I wasn't good with a bow and arrow.
Thalia snorted. “That's an understatement. You should've seen the time when I tried to teach him to shoot at a target ten feet away from him that was as big as an elephant.”
“What happened?” Will asked.
Grover bleated. “He almost hit me and I wasn't even close to the target!”
That let out a round of laughter, while Percy's face turned red as a tomato.
Will was holding his sides. “Gods Percy. I thought my dad offered to teach you archery!”
“Well, I kinda refused,” Percy mumbled.
“WHAT?!?”
Clarisse snorted. “See? What's so great about Percy now?”
Percy gave her his “you-want-to-play-with-me?” stare. She shut up.
Jake held out his hand, trying not to laugh. “I'll read.”

i just realized we havent had a good prank in a long time. and im not really good at thinking things up, soo....good luck dhowe!
