"Aunt Sandy, I'm going to the pool!"
"OK honey have fun!" her aunt called. Makenzie went out into the hall. When she heard some girls laughing, she craned her neck to see who it was. It was the blonde snooty girl and the black-haired girl who acted like she was on drugs. Makenzie stuck her nose in the air, then lowered it. She wasn't like that. Makenzie walked slowly so as not to overtake them. THen she noticed that they were wearing bathing suits. She groaned. The snooty blonde looked up.
"What's up?" she asked.
"Well... uh... I was just... uh..." stammered Makenzie. The girl with black hair bounced up to her.
"I'm Cassidee!" she sagte sticking out her hand. "And this is Eden."
The blonde waved.
Makenzie looked awkwardly at the hand.
"I'm Makenzie," she said. There was a silence.
"Well, WE'RE going swimming!" sagte Cassidee, cheerfully. She eyed Makenzie's stylish bikini. "It looks like Du are too."
Makenzie nodded. "I'm going to buy some popcorn too. Do Du guys want some?"
Eden nodded but Cassidee shook her head.
"I can't," she said. "I'm allergic."
Makenzie stared.
"To POPCORN?"
Cassidee nodded."Yep."
"Wow!" sagte Eden. "I didn't know that!"
"Can we go now?" asked Cassidee, irritated.
"Ok let's go," Makenzie said. The girls walked up to the snack bar. "How about a cookie?" Makenzie asked Cassidee.
"Allergic," sagte Cassidee. Makenzie looked skeptical but shrugged.
The girls ran down to the pool room. They picked some chairs to lay down their things. Makenzie put her hair up in a dusche cap. Cassidee giggled.
"What?" Makenzie asked.
"Nothing... grandma," Cassidee sagte trying to restrain her giggles. Makenzie held back a smile and hit Cassidee with a towel.
"Hey look!" Eden said. "It's that girl from the pageant!"
Makenzie and Cassidee stopped fighting for a Minute and saw the girl with orange hair walk in the door. Her hair was in two French braids and she wore a stylish blue One Piece and a sparkly rosa sarong.
"Let's go say hi!" Cassidee said, hopping in place. Eden took a step back.
"I don't know..." she said. Cassidee cocked her head.
"Why not? Let's go!" and with that she ran over to the girl. "Hi I'm Cassidee and that's Eden and that's Makenzie!"
The girl giggled. "I'm Nalani," she said. "I saw Du at the pageant, no?"
Cassidee nodded vigorously.
"Yep that's us!"
Makenzie and Eden approached, a little timidly. Eden stuck out her hand, which Nalani shook. Nalani smiled, Wird angezeigt perfectly straight, gleaming white teeth.
"Aloha," she said. As soon as she sagte it, she grimaced. "I mean- hi."
"Aloha," giggled Cassidee. "Where are Du from, Hawaii?"
Eden shot her a warning look. Nalani blushed profusely.
"Well, yes, actually," she answered.
"Oh I was wondering where Du got that sarong," Makenzie said, dazzled.
"Do Du like it?" Nalani asked looking shyly down at her sparkly garb.
"It's fantastic!" Cassidee said, hopping in place. "Now can we go swimming?"
"Yeah c'mon guys!" laughed Eden. Nalani nodded and giggled.
"I need a tanning bed," Makenzie said. She tok a few steps back and jumped into the pool. A wave of water splashed all over the girls.
"Hey man!" Cassidee yelled. "You're gonna pay for that!" She did a cannonball into the water causing even Mehr water to splash onto Eden and Nalani. The girls threw off their wraps and joined their Friends in the water.
