Am I the only one annoyed when the team refers to eobard thawne as Wells even though they know he's not wells

I think it was a matter of availability. Because Cavanagh is a regular on Flash, he obviously was the easiest to get to play Thawne in last year’s crossover. Matt Letscher may not have been available. I agree, logistically, it didn’t make sense, because it had to be that Thawne, during the time period when he was wearing E-1 Wells’s face, traveled to the future (not back to his future, but circa season 4 of The Flash), and also to Earth-X to team up with Overgirl and Dark Arrow. Why Thawne would even team up with N*zis makes no sense, but it’s even weirder that that particular Thawne would travel to the future and Earth-X just to mess with Barry. I mean, even if Nora is being influenced Von Thawne, it would make sense if that Thawne from 2049 had time traveled to check in her when she showed up at the wedding to make sure she’s doing what he wants her to, but the Thawne who wears Wells’s face may not be aware that he would time travel again to mess with Nora in her future.
