Hi folks ! Just for the sake of the information, here is the breakdown of all the songs wearing a Beatles “signature” from their very beginning to their very sad end:

Played (written and covers) (1958-1994): 301

Covers only:

Anthology 1 – 2 – 3 (1958-1970): 13

Written but sung by somebody else (1962-1970): 14

As a true Beatles fan to the bone since their very beginning to their very end and still breathing through their music, I humbly confess that I didn’t know the titles of all their covers, in particular the ones from 1958 to 1962, i.e. before they became professional as “The Beatles” as an official recording entity with George Martin in 1962. But I can proudly say that I know all the songs (titles and lyrics) performed as covers on their official albums and of course all of their original compositions (titles and lyrics, it goes without saying), which add up to at least 243. Not so bad after all.
So, dear Poemedic, with your 292, I’d be curious to know how old you are and if you could show me your list. That would be interesting. No irony whatsoever. Just curious… as a down to the bone Beatles fan! --- BeatleFan4Ever-LuvAlwaiz-Jj9
