I'm heading to Thailand in a few weeks for two weeks and was wondering whether anyone had any recommendations of what to see and what to buy. Most of my time will be in Bangkok because I'm visiting my cousin and his family (who, obviously, live in Bangkok) but I'm still open to day or couple-of-days trips.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
