Pretty sure he'll be back since he's supposed to be the hot guy of the show... Jeff Davis will definitely keep him around.

He's not only hot, he's one of the most interesting characters in the series. Besides everyone wants to see Derek having a Happy End, since he's one of the most tragic characters in the series. Arguably the most tragic character. Also Jackson is also hot, but this would not be the reason I like his character. I like his character, since he's well-developed, douchebag persona and all. Though I don't feel much sympathy for Jackson.
How is he actually interesting? He fails everything he does and still acts as if he knows best... I admit his character has gotten better during 3B but there is no way I'll ever consider him one of the most interesting characters of this show... He's boring.
You're joking right? Half the fanbase only watches because they think Derek is hot. Hoechlin/Sterek is Jeff Davis' cash cow. Derek isn't going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately.

I read an interview online and Jeff Davis sagte that Derek would return to Beacon Hills. Glad to hear that he's staying! I was asking myself the exact same Frage when the season finale was over.
According to Tyler H., he isn't planning on returning, so that means we'll most likely never see Derek again. So upsetting, he's one of my Favoriten and one of the most loved characters! But I'll respect Tyler's decision to Bewegen onto other things. I really do hope he'll at least return for the Zeigen finale oder something, so we can get some closure on Derek. But who knows.
