He\'s dating one of the world\'s most famous musicians, Taylor Swift. 

And despite no doubt winning over the singer with his charming good looks and personality, Tom Hiddleston debuted a very different look on the set of Thor: Ragnarok in Brisbane, Queensland, on Monday.

Donning a creepy long black wig for his character Loki, the British actor, 35, was barely recongnisable as he walked around with co-star Chris Hemsworth, 33.

What a mop: The top half of the wig was slicked back off his face and the bottom of the weave was left out and flowing in messy curls

With a full face of makeup, Tom showed off his new mane while a black suit with a matching shirt and tie.

He was also spotted on set wearing a dark grey hooded jacket and a blue T-shirt underneath, with jeans and boots.

He appeared in high spirits on the day, joking and laughing with Chris, who also was wearing his signature long blonde wig on as he prepared to portray the Marvel god Thor. 

Theme: He matched his long wig with a black fitted suit as well as a black shirt and tie

The pair appeared to be filming a scene, with it appearing to be set in New York with yellow cabs.

Tom could be seen getting quite animated on set as Chris stood and watched him. 

The duo play brothers in the film, alongside fellow stars Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins. 

The film is expected to be released next year and is a sequel in the Thor franchise.

Stylish: The golden locks were tied back into a low ponytail while loose strands fell freely in front of the hunk\'s face

Casual: While in character, Chris sported a pair of jeans and a black cardigan which he covered with a denim jacket

Accessories: He finished off his Thor look with a pair of leather boots

Bits and pieces: The Australian used an umbrella as a prompt during filming

What\'s up: Chris looked in deep concentration as crew members guided him through scenes during filming

Concentration: In one scene, he read a small piece of paper which seemly angered his temper

US calling? He was later joined by Tom (R) on set, where they appeared to be filming a scene in New York with yellow cabs

Also the same day, they were seen in more casual gear and appeared to be taking a break on set, but wearing their wigs.  

The Australian star led the way as they worked around the location, with Chris stopping to chat to others on set.

Chris was dressed in dark grey and black boardshorts and a light grey jumper and showed off a fuller beard. 

Looking at something? They later turned their backs to the camera and posed with their arms crossed in another take

As he films the series, Tom has been spending time apart from his American squeeze Taylor, 26.

But he\'s been jetting to and from the US when he can to spend time with Taylor. 

The pair will reportedly make their red carpet debut together at the Emmy Awards in the US, next month.
