Prepare for two distinctly grand "Supernatural" episodes in the coming weeks
Before fans move excitedly closer to the sixth episode of The CW\'s highly-acclaimed horror drama television series "Supernatural", they will have to get through a "musical-ish" mayhem brought about by the fresh and extended episode of season 10. The upcoming title, "Fan Fiction," is the 200th milestone episode of the celebrated supernatural series.
The cleverly storied synopsis tells fans what it\'s all about:
"When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the disappearance of a teacher, they are going to get stunned to see the school is putting on a musical based on their lives. Familiar faces will abound in this milestone episode."
According to the show\'s executive producer Jeremey Carver via Jobs N Hire, the characters will be in a sort of play where there will be fun and "different" ways of representations for the characters behind the series\'s huge success.
"It\'s very much a love letter not only to the fans but to some of the actors that have graced the screen on the show over the years. There\'s going to be lots of little Easter eggs of sorts with little, visual shout-outs to folks we\'ve grown to love from the past," Carver said.
This is another (and it\'s rather special) of the show\'s tolerance for resurrecting big characters in the show. Most notable is probably be Bobby (Jay Beaver), the Winchester brothers\' good old friend. Despite the death of Beaver\'s character in episode 10 of season 7, the show can\'t seem to get rid of the father-figure as fans can still hear his name being mentioned.
And the upcoming special episode will not be spared, as well as the next. "Fan Fiction" will be aired fresh from the show\'s week-long hiatus on Nov. 11, but fans can now look forward to the sixth episode, which will hugely feature Bobby yet again.
The sixth episode titled "Ask Jeeves" digs underground when half of the well-loved brothers, Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), runs into a seemingly lucrative secret involving Bobby. In their beloved old friend\'s cell phone, Dean discovers that "Bobby or his next of kin have been named as a beneficiary in an heiress\' will." Dean then sways Sam (Jared Padalecki) into pursuing what he thinks is riches, only to discover it is nothing that he imagined.
Fans can check out "Ask Jeeves" on Nov. 18, but they should make sure not to miss the special fifth episode on Tuesday.
