Dean drove straight into the purple flash. It engulfed them, swallowed them, and spit them back out. Dean looked around him. At first glance, nothing had changed. They were headed north on the road in front of the Best Western in Iola, Kansas. A Sekunde glance at the parking lot, however, revealed the truth. The girls were gone, along with the Sekunde Impala.

Dean whooped. “Yeah, baby! Du know, when Du know what that thing is, it’s kind of a rush.” He grinned widely and looked over at Sam, expecting to see Sam’s trademark bitchface glaring at him.

Sam stared out the window, saying nothing, not even seeing the lightning all around them.

Dean snapped his fingers. “Hey! Sammy! Du in there?”

Sam looked up suddenly, startled. “Huh?”

Dean grinned. “Still thinking about the girls?”

Sam nodded somberly. “Yeah, I am, actually.”

“D was pretty hot, wasn’t she?” Dean commented. “Samantha was kinda cute, too.”

Sam gave Dean a look of disgust. Dean’s smile faded. “What, Du didn’t think so?”

Sam shrugged and stared through the windshield. “Yeah, I guess they were. I just… I didn’t see them that way.” Sam drew in a long, deep breath and let it out slowly.

Dean had a funny look on his face as he realized something incredible. “You know,” he said, “it’s kinda funny. The whole time we were there, I never thought of hitting on either of the girls even once.”

Sam looked at Dean as though he thought Dean was sick. “And now Du regret that?’

Dean frowned. Maybe he was sick, after all. “Not really, no.” he looked over at Sam, holding his gaze much longer than anyone should when sitting behind the steering wheel.

“So, then…” Sam shrugged, not really sure what he wanted to ask. “What did Du really think of her, then?”

“I don’t know,” Dean said, looking back out at the road ahead. “I guess, maybe…” He shrugged. “I don’t know…”

“Maybe…” Sam took another deep breath, hoping he was voicing Dean’s feelings and not just embarrassing himself Von revealing his own. “Maybe like she was a little sister oder something?”

Dean shrugged and ran his tongue over his lips. “Maybe…”

They were silent for a long time, staring out through the windshield. Dean finally couldn’t stand the silence any longer. He switched on the radio. “We’re going through, to the other side…” blasted from the speakers. Sam’s eyes flicked down at the radio angrily.

Dean switched the radio off and shifted uncomfortably in his seat. “You know,” he said, clearing his throat, “I’m not in a musical mood right now.”

--------------------------------------------------

Sam and Dean stahl, stola through the cemetery, looking for Sharon Walker’s grave. Dean grumbled, “Oh, I hate these kinds of cemeteries, where the graves are in a kreis and a few are scattered in the center to make it even Mehr confusing.”

Sam pointed at a seemingly Zufällig headstone. “Try that one.”

Dean scoffed, “You pick a headstone Von playing ‘eenie, meenie, minie, mo’?”

They looked at the headstone. It read, “Sharon Walker, 1988-2009.”

Dean looked up at Sam. “How’d Du do that?”

Sam, his face still drawn tight, just shrugged and stabbed his shovel into the ground. Dean followed suit, commenting, “Well, at least we’re not having to do this Von flashlight in the middle of the night for once.”

Sam scooped out a shovelful and dumped it behind him, his hazel eyes darkening and his lips pulled tight. Dean saw that something was troubling deeply, but a gravestone in the middle of a cemetery was no place for a heart-to-heart family discussion.

--------------------------------------------------

Samantha and D sat on one bed, Sharon sat on the other.

D looked up at the brass sunburst clock on the wall. “Five ’til ten,” she said. She cocked the shotgun and sat back on the bett to wait.

Samantha looked over at Sharon, trying to ignore the callousness of D’s move. “How Du holding up?”

Sharon had her arms folded. She took a deep breath and drew her knees up to her chest. “Not too bad, considering that I’m trapped in the middle of the freakiest Syfy Channel Original Movie that I’ve ever seen.”

Samantha nodded somberly. “Yeah, I know what Du mean.”

Sharon looked over at the girls. “And Du do this for a living? Not the parallel worlds, I mean- the ghosts. Why would Du want to do that?’

“There’s lot of people like us,” D said. “We do things like this to keep people like Du safe, sicher and let Du live the lives Du deserve to live.”

“What about you?” wondered Sharon. “Who’s there to give Du the lives Du deserve?”

D was quiet for a moment. Then she said, “This is our life. Saving people, hunting things… it’s the family business. This is what we do. We’re like soldiers.”

Sharon still looked puzzled, but she nodded gratefully. “Thanks.” She slid off the edge of the bed. “I’m gonna go to the bathroom. I’ll be right back.”

Samantha waited until the door had closed. Then she pulled her cell phone out of her back pocket. As the lights flickered and the thunder roared, she dialed Sam’s cell number.

“What are Du doing?” asked D. “That’s not gonna work. He’s on the other side now.”

“I’m gonna try it, anyway,” Samantha said, placing the phone Von her ear. “We have to know whether oder not they destroyed her.”

D shook her head. “They’re on the other side. They can’t possibly-”

“Sam?” Samantha brightened perceptibly, holding her hand up to signal for silence.

--------------------------------------------------

“Samantha?” The storm still raged around Sam and Dean as Sam answered his phone.

“It still works!” cried Samantha joyously.

Sam smiled widely. “Yeah.”

“Did Du find it?”

“Yeah,” Sam said, glancing at Dean, who was still digging furiously at the packed earth.

“Call me after Du torch the bones.”

Sam nodded. “Will do.” He closed up his phone.

“That Samantha?” asked Dean, still shoveling.

Sam pocketed his phone and picked up his shovel. “Yeah. They’re waiting on us.” He shoveled with a little Mehr enthusiasm and vigor than he had before.

--------------------------------------------------

Sharon stood over the sink, sniffling and drying her eyes. She reminded herself to be brave. After all, those two girls outside would protect her.

Sharon turned off the water and looked up at her reflection in the mirror. She sighed. Her reflection grinned evilly. Sharon frowned at it. The reflection reached out of the mirror.

Sharon screamed and backed away in terror.
Meg opened the door of a motel room and helped Cas inside. She guided him to the single bett and put him down. She gently pushed him down and he opened his eyes a little. She walked to the bathroom and dampened a towel.
She walked back into the room and sank down on the bed. Unlike Meg’s Cas’ clothes hadn’t been restored. Meg opened the ruined and bloodstained hospital hemd, shirt and dabbed his wounds with the towel.
Cas groaned from pain.
“You don’t have to do this” he sagte weak. “I will heal eventually”
“I know” Meg sagte absent-minded. She stared at Cas’ body. Even with all the cuts he still looked…jumpable.
“But thanks for the gesture” Cas sagte with a weak smile.
Meg continued nursing his injuries. “You know” she said. “If I was still human, I’d fall for you”
Cas gave her another weak smile, before he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
Meg was sneaking around in a closed Essen store. She didn’t have to eat, but she remembered the flavor of vanilla from when she was a human and so she ate all vanilla puddings she found on the shelves. Being a demon did have his perks. For instance, she could eat whatever she wanted without gaining a pound.
The door opened and closed again. Damn it, she thought, Mehr demons. One of them whistled. “Meggie! Hey, Meggie! Crowley wants to give Du a kiss. Why don’t Du be a nice demon and come out”
Meg crawled away and hid in the Weiter aisle.
“Guess what, Meggie”...

The curtains in the living room of Meg’s house were shoved aside. A man with light brown hair, blue eyes and a long black mantel was looking through the field glass Meg had left behind. Without turning around he said: “Get him”
Three demons, two with brown hair and a checked hemd, shirt and one with no hair, but a beard, a grey sweater and a brown vest vanished into thin air.
“Now let’s go give Mrs. Allen a friendly visit” he sagte to himself.
Daphne was cleaning the breakfast table, when someone knocked the door. She looked up, uncertain of what to do. But Emmanuel had told her to stay inside,...

Cas woke up at ten. He came out of bett listless and opened the curtains. It was cloudy and rainy. The weather matched his mood.
He walked downstairs to the fridge and took out some eggs. He had seen Daphne bake eggs and it didn’t seem all that difficult. He put the pan on the cooker and turned it on. But instead of waiting the pan was hot he opened the eggs and threw them in the pan right away.
He pricked in the still fluid egg which appeared to take longer to coagulate. He decided to make some coffee, while he waited.
Just pour some of that brown stuff in that thing, how hard can it be?,...

Daphne’s eyes flashed open. She felt how someone was staring at her and she looked aside. It was a woman with short, ginger hair which she had seemed to cut herself.
Daphne let out a shriek and jumped back. “Get away from me! Freak!”
The woman’s eyes bulged as they glided over Daphne’s inducted body. She reached out her hand and touched the bandage, when Daphne waved her hand and slapped her.
The woman touched her cheek and shrieked. She raced to a corner and began to cry like a baby.
The door opened and two nurses came in. One was rather tall and robust while the other one could’ve...

Twenty Minuten later Shannen limped into the kitchen. She was now wearing a baby doll that belonged to Daphne.
“You’re bleeding” Cas said. Alexia was in the living room, watching television.
“Yeah” Shannen sagte and she limped to the table. “Zoey told me Du can heal people”
Cas nodded. “Yes, that is true”
“Could Du do it now?” Shannen said.
“Right” Cas said. He carefully touched her leg and healed the cut. He didn’t remove his hand and stared at her smooth skin.
“Emmanuel?” Shannen sagte careful.
Cas pulled his hand away abruptly. “I’m sorry” he apologized....

Cas and Alexia were sitting at the living table, playing Don’t lose your head and Cas was losing, when the glocke rang.
“I think that’s the babysitter” Cas sagte and he stood up and walked to the front door. When he opened the door he saw a teenage girl. She was wearing a blue tank oben, nach oben and jeans. Her clothes stuck on her body from the rain. She was holding a rugsack over her head to avoid getting any wetter.
“Are Du going to let me in?” she sagte shivering. Cas stepped aside and let the girl in, after which he closed the door.
“Are Du Shannen?” he asked.
“Uhu” Shannen confirmed....

Cas and Alexia arrived at a townhouse. The mailbox sagte ‘Mr. and Mrs. Moore’ Cas frowned. “Are Du sure this is where Du live?”
“Of course” Alexia laughed. “I know where I live” She walked to the front door, but she didn’t have to ring oder knock. The door was already opened and Gerard came outside.
“Hi, kiddo” he sagte and he lifted Alexia in his arms. He looked at Cas, not very pleased. “Thanks for bringing her back”
“Why wouldn’t I bring her back?” Cas wondered.
Gerard shrugged as he walked in Cas’ directions. “I don’t know” he said. “All I know is that...

The Weiter morning
Cas opened the door of the house and helped Daphne inside. He guided her to the sitting room and put her gently down on the couch.
“You know, I’ve been thinking” Daphne said. “With Du around I don’t need a car. Makes things a lot cheaper”
“Can I get Du something?” Cas asked.
Daphne shook her head. “You’re here. That’s enough for now”
Cas wasn’t used to that much gratitude and he’d have to adjust to it.
“Actually” Daphne started. “Could Du give me the phone? I need to call the locksmith to tell him I won’t be needing his services after all. I gave Zoey her key back”
Cas smiled weak. “I’m glad Du made it up with each other”
An Stunde later, when Daphne’s arm was in plaster, someone knocked on the door and Zoey appeared. Her nose was still red, but she didn’t look so angry anymore. She stuck out her hand and made some movements with them like she was doing mime.
“What are Du doing?” Daphne asked frowning.
“Just checking the vibes, that’s all” Zoey answered. She looked at her sister. “Seriously, is it safe, sicher in here oder should I get myself a helmet?”
Daphne rolled her eyes and waved her good arm. Zoey walked towards the bed.
“So, the window, huh?” Zoey sagte kind of impressed. “Guess he’s not a...

The feuer was out and the firemen left when a familiar car was parked at the same spot the feuer truck had been parked. The door opened and Zoey stepped out. She quickly walked up to Cas.
“What happened? Where’s Daphne?” she asked insisting. The man from Ethan Allen’s walked to his car and left. His colleagues had left the new furniture on the drive. Zoey looked at them. “What’s this?”
Cas smiled nervous. Since Zoey knew Cas smiled rarely she was immediately alerted. “Okay, spill, what did I miss?”
Cas coughed. “I might have done some regrettable things last night. And thirty...

Cas and the man from the furniture company waited outside while the firemen extinguished the fire. Taking advantage of all the activity Meg sneaked in through the back door. She walked through the küche to the hallway and upstairs.
She went to Daphne’s bedroom. There had to be something in here she could use against her.
She opened the closet and searched through the clothes. Every now and then she inspected a piece of clothing and if she liked it she threw it on the bed. She had to increase her wardrobe one way oder the other.
She walked to the cabinet and opened the first drawer. Underwear,...

Cas opened the door of The schloss Café and entered the seemingly empty establishment. “Hello?” he called, but no one responded.
Maybe he was too late. But Andy had called him only five Minuten ago. Surely they would Zeigen Mehr patience than that.
“They’re not coming”
Cas turned around and saw Meg standing at a tabelle in the left corner.
“You must be mistaken. Daphne’s cousin has summoned me here” he said. Meg shook her head. “No, Emmanuel, they played a prank on you” she said, while she slowly walked his way.
“Why would they do that?” Cas asked, sounding hurt.
“Maybe...

Daphne searched the room for an escape, realized there was none and then laughed nervously at Cas. “Sweetie, why don’t we…why don’t we go upstairs and talk about this?” she suggested.
“Why can’t Du tell me right here? Is the truth so upsetting Du think I might do something to embarrass Du and myself?” Cas asked.
“If Du mean causing a scene, you’ve already done a great job of that” Daphne sagte and she took his arm. “Come on, let’s go”
She dragged Cas upstairs to her room and locked the door. She turned around. “This better be good, Emmanuel. Now tell me, what...

When Cas and Zoey finally came downstairs Mehr guests had arrived. And among the guests there was a four Jahr old girl. She had blonde, wavy hair, green eyes, chubby cheeks and thin lips. She ran towards Zoey and Zoey lifted her in her arms.
“There Du are, Poppy” Zoey said.
“Mommy” the girl squeaked, squeezing her chubby arms tightly around Zoey’s neck, suffocating her.
“Is that Alexia?” Cas asked. Zoey nodded and put her daughter on her own feet. “Say hi to Emmanuel, sweetie”
Alexia reached out her hand and smiled. “Hello, Emmanuel”
Cas accepted the tiny hand and Alexia...

Cas and Daphne were sitting on the couch, when Zoey came in. Cas quickly looked up, but Daphne kept her eyes on the Foto album, lying on her lap.
“I see Du two are talking again” Zoey sagte and she sounded a little disappointed.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about” Daphne mumbled. She lifted her head and gave Cas a KISS on the cheek.
“I saw Shannen in the bakery today” Zoey said. “She’s my daughter’s babysitter, FYI” she sagte to Cas.
“Okay” Cas said. He always felt uncomfortable in Zoey’s presence.
“You’ll get to see her soon” Daphne smiled. “You’re...

Zoey walked into a bakery and put down a pile of flyers on the desk.
“Do Du know this man?” a customer read. It was a teenage girl. She looked up. “No, I do not. Is he a convict? oder is he missing?”
“He’s not missing” Zoey said. “He lives in my house. And as far as being a convict, let’s say it’s still undecided”
“Who is he?” the girl asked. She picked up a flyer. “Mind if I take one of these?”
Zoey shook her head. “Maybe Du could help”
“Sure, anything Du want” the girl sagte and she and Zoey left the bakery.
“Thanks” Zoey said.
“You haven’t answered...

Jack was putting on his mantel when his phone buzzed. He took him out of his pocket and smirked when Zoey’s name appeared on the screen.
“Miss Allen, I’m just finishing up here and then I’m going straight home, so that drink you’re dying to have with me, it’s going to have to wait”
“Check her Facebook profile” Zoey said.
“What?” Jack asked distracted.
“She gepostet some pictures of her and Emmanuel on her Facebook page” Zoey explained. “You can cut her out of it and scan the photo. See what Du come up with”
Silence.
“Are Du still there?” she asked slowly.
“Yeah,...

What always has been relatable about Dean is he is not the character with the big Supernatural myth arc. He was written and set up to be the normal one in the pairing - the one who kept everything grounded in reality. And yet he is a normal man who still had most of the pivotal events of season 4 and 5 revolving around him. In season 4, he is the one who get’s a special bond with an Angel – Jäger der Finsternis (not the brother who admitted to deep faith in season 1). In season 5, he's the center of the manipulation Von the Engel to get him to agree to be Michael's vessel, and during the time kills a number of...
