Don't get me wrong, I really liked Ricardo Montalban as Khan but I don't like the idea of bringing that character back that much.
Besides that I can't picture any of those guys playing the role

Since the question is "If they CHOSE to introduce Khan", I don't really have a say anymore as to whether I want Khan in the movie or not, and that said, I'd prefer Javier Bardem. He has a good look about him and definitely the acting chops to pull off an ego maniacal super human.

I, however, really, REALLY, do NOT want to see Khan in the new Trek movies. At most, a hint or reference at the end of what is hopefully a trilogy.

I'll have to agree with both of your comments on this. I myself am a huge fan of Star Trek 2 and the idea of JJ of updating and tweaking his character into the next movie just seems... wrong.

My thoughts: Daniel Day Lewis.

I chose him because to do the character Kahn again all measures must be taken to not just simple repeat the great Ricardo Montabon's performance. I'm thinking of all those amazing movies where Lewis simply loses himself in characters: Gangs of New York... etc

To bring Kahn back you'd have to rely on someone pulling a Heath Ledger: Joker type of performance.

I'd say just take your pick of most of Bardem's movies. I'm not all that familiar with his work, but everyone upon everyone knows he has the chops to pull it off.

Day Lewis would knock it out of the park as well, though I'm not sure if he has the right look.

JJ can't go wrong with either two, though I am heavily against using Khan in the next movie, as there's just so many other possibilities than just retreading Space Seed.
