I don't know why, but I like allies...

it's more fun to see them as enemies! And their so good at it!

They're pretty much half and half. And it depends on the show. In Deep Space Nine, I view Klingons as allies, but in the others I see them more as enemies. But I love some of the Klingon characters we got to know and like in DS9!

What's cool about them being allies is that it's always such a fragile alliance. They're always having to play these tense political games to keep the alliance from falling apart. Some of the best TNG and DS9 episodes were about the Klingons.

it's cute when they team up, like in the dominion war

I like them better when they have less petty bickering.

Rather have them fighting on our side than on the enemies.

They are too scary to have as enemies

It makes a better episode to see them fight the Federation.

I like them as either, but half-klingon Maquis must be allies (Go B'Elanna!)
