To be quite honest, the first time I watched spice and wolf I thought holo was a fox. I soon found out that she was indeed a wolf. (Obviously, it's in the title of the show after all.)

I really think Holo should have been a fox. I thought she was a fox for a bit...

at first i thought she was a fox, then as the series progressed on i found out that she was a wolf insteed

Obviously a fox they have the same colored fur,similar looking ears and tail.

Only when she's in her true wolf form she looks more like a wolf of course,but when in her human form she looks more like a fox than anything else...no offense.

To tell you the truth I thought she was a wolf first time I saw her. But that is just me apparently a lot of people thought she was a fox. XD

wolvess can be red guys and if u even pay attention to the first five minutes of the show they explain the she is a wolf pretty clearly
