Chapter 1
All Destroyed Von The Unknown
Date: 4-20 -3048
Time: 03:37:58,
(3:37 AM, Eastern Standard Time)
Location: Daralla Galaxy
4L3RT, AL3RT, F1R3 W4RN1NG 1N THR33 S3CT0RS.......
Serios woke with a jolt, immediately feeling the heat of the feuer outside the door of her sleeping quarters, the heat seeping through the metal. She quickly sat up in her bed, eyes wide and sleep still encrusted in the corners.
S3CT0RS 1NCLUD3 S3CT0R 2....
She rolled over, looking in her room that her back was formerly facing. The normally white room was red, then black, red, then black, the sequence repeating itself every few seconds. ' Alarms? Why are the alarms going off? Security breach? ' She thought, quickly getting out of her bett and rushing to the changing quarters part of her room.
S3CT0R 6, 4ND S3CT0R...
"Ten" Serios grumbled to herself, Sector 10 being her current residence. She stumbled into a circular alcove in the the right Wand of her room and turned around to face the blinking red room once again.
AL3RT, AL3RT, F1R3 W4RN1NG 1N THR33 S3CT0RS....
The message the computer, EDIS, repeated. EDIS spoke normally when it came to speech, but when it came to a typed out message, the malfunction in her system made it so that all of her I's were replaced Von 1's, A's replaced Von 4's, O's replaced Von 0's, and E's replaced Von 3's. That always made it harder to read for Serios, and that's not even counting the fact that all the normal letters were capitals, making it look like the computer was constantly shouting at her.
Serios pressed a rectangular button the wall. She was expecting it to go in smoothly, and for the proper function in the machine quickly change her into her clothes, but instead, it was jammed halfway. "Oh, come on, come on!" She yelled to no one in particular. "Please work! I have to get out there!" Unfortunately, the machine couldn't hear her begging, and continued to malfunction.
'Of course, what was I expecting?' she thought. ' The ship's on fire, there's probably malfunctions all over the ship'
Turning to her left, she opened a cupboard and grabbed the outfit she was planing on wearing that day, identical to all her others. Quickly slipping them on over her nightwear, she grabbed her laser sword and blaster and headed for the door. She swung it open gallantly, only to be greeted Von blazing hot fires.
Stepping back immediately, she slammed the door on the fires, refusing to let them enter her quarters. She hung her head against the door. In retrospect, opening the door like some stylish lunatic was a pretty stupid idea. She sighed, and deciding to open the door normally, stepped back, ready to fling it open and jump over the fires.
