Who does Amu end up with Ikuto oder Tadase?

It was never specified.

In the anime, she never actually realized that she loved Ikuto. And in the last episode of Party, he says they'll never see each other again, so we can guess that she wound up with Tadase.

In the manga, Ikuto came back, and she DID realize that she loved him, and it went Mehr in-depth about a future relationship throughout the whole series, Mehr so than the Anime did. So we can guess that she wound up with Ikuto.

So its safe, sicher to say that she somehow wound up with both, and it all depends on who you're asking. A Tadamu Fan could say Tadase, and an Amuto Fan could just as easily say Ikuto.

Ikuto. In the manga, when she travels through time she meets the future tadase, and he says he hasnt seen her in so long, which kinda implies they dont get together.

Since the Manga is the real thing with the original story,I would say that she ends up with Ikuto :P
She realises that she loves Ikuto, and the ending(and the rest of the story) is Amuto all the way!

The last season of the Anime ruined the whole series,and it has nothing to do with the original story! Amu doesn't even realise she loves Ikuto,and it's a kind of Tadamu ending...
I would rather say that the 3rd season doesn't count in the series,and would prefer the Anime end with the doki ending.

I think Tadase because at first Ikuto was just useing Amu to find the Embryo and stahl, stola the Humpty Key from Tadase's family. Also Amu seems to like Tadase a lot Mehr and treat Ikuto Mehr like a little brother.

In the Manga Amu and Ikuto end up together, however, in the anime, Amu doesn't realize that she loves Ikuto; making her end up with Tadesa.

I think because there's going to be a new season soon that it'll make a Mehr fuller ending so that way Amu and Ikuto end up together.

lol, isn't it obviouse? :-) First of all, the Manga is the "real" story, and she ends up with Ikuto. Her thing with Tadase, is like the normal/usuall teenage crush. With Ikuto there's a real thing. But she ends up with Tadase first (Talking about the anime), untill she gets older. At least that's what I think. Ikuto does say: "hurry and gropw up".. because she's still just a child. So when she's and adult, I think they will get back together.

The Anime is shorter than the manga. In the manga, Du go fouther into the future, while in the Anime Du dont, so that Du can decide who wins her heart. In the Anime it doesnt clearly say who she ends up, cause Ikuto sagte she should grow up. At that time, Amu is still so young, and not ready for such a serious relashionship that Ikuto wants. But when she is grown up, I think they'll end up together. Thats anyways the real ending in the manga. The ones who says she'll end up with Tadase, aren't looking further than their noses. That love, is a normal teenage crush which everyone goes through.
And Von the way.. Du can hear her herz beat when she and ikuto are close, but Du cant even here it a single time with tadase.

In the Anime Tadase

This Frage has raised a lot of...er...comments. I think in the Manga she ended up with Ikuto. The Anime is leaning toward Tadase right now but rumor is that there is a new season coming based off Shugo Chara Encore which means mostly likely an Amuto ending, IF this season ever comes out. The reason why Shugo Chara Party ended is there weren't enough viewers my guess is the cosplay girls, Pucchi Pucchi, and since there was few Ikuto scenes and lots of Tadase ones and the majority of viewers are Amuto so they don't want to see Tadase and Tadamu scenes. It all depends.
They both Liebe her, but she isn't sure who she loves.
But in the last episode, Ikuto told her to grow, I guess it's hinted that he was waiting for her. I hope at least ..

In the Beginning Amu likes Tadase but he rejects her.. in the Manga Amu relizes he loves Ikuto.. well Tadase confessed that he likes the Amulet herz but confessed in the end that he falls inlove with Amu so Amu loved him back since he really loved tadase in the start.. meanwhile Ikuto was using Amu to find the Embryo.. but they end up loving each other.. so i would say Amu ends up with both of them oder nobody since she loved Tadase and Ikuto..OR MAYBE Amu ends up with Kairi ahaha! he was the first one to confess to Amu truly! :)

One thing is true: Amu's "first love" was Tadase. But, in my opinion, it was just a crush, not real love. In the manga, Amu confessed to Tsukasa that she had liked Tadase for his outer character - It means she don't like the real Tadase, his real character. And she sagte that truly loves Ikuto (just like HinamoriAmu1 said).

In the manga, Amu (clearly) ends up with Ikuto.. Yeah - Amuto Forever!! ♥
And, in the anime, Amu doesn't end up with Tadase! In the last episode of Party, he says he will never return to Japan again.. but Ikuto also sagte "Hurry and grow up.". In my opinion, it means "Hurry and grow up, because now you're too young for me - but I'm going to return, just because of you"!!

Weeell.....That's never proven xD But in the Anime it looks like she ends up with Tadase! (YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!) Because in the last episode Tadase kissed Amu on her cheek and says that he always be Von her side. After that there hadn't came any TadAmu nor Amuto moment so Du can say that she ends up with Tadase, but it's all up to Du to choose what Du believe.

Okay, to start off, let's begin with character: Tadase was a little boy who got pushed around and was a crybaby so he wanted to rule the world. Ikuto has a troubled past and wants to be somewhat like a stray cat. For me, Tadase is evil. If, per say, Tadase wanted to be a great king, than his guardian would be less... Tyranty... And when he character changes, he is well, evil. But this is a big mistake, because it shows that Tadases character wants to be a kind, strong King, so, if he REALLY wanted to be that, his character change wouldn't be all that different, but it IS so to sum it up, Tadase is either very very evil, or, he is an underdeveloped character with no thought put in except to be Amus crush.
Ikuto, on the other hand, has flaws too, but his character is very well developed, he has a story, a reason, a meaning, and is well thought out. He can be connected to Mehr easily, and actually risks his life for Amu a few times. While Tadase is in the corner all like "HINAMORI AMU SAN" this and "HINAMORI AMU SAN" that, honestly, I'd say it makes up 60% percent of his dialogue- wait, I'm off topic. Any way, Ikuto shows signs of trusting Amu with his life, and protecting hers with his, he doesn't just have a little crush, he has something deeper. And if the creator of Shugo Chara puts less thought into one Liebe interest than another it's obvious which one it will be. Also, Ikuto and Amu are not "enemies" Ikuto HAS to work for Easter but if he had a choice, he would be with the good people. All Du Tadase Fans out there, really ponder it. WHAT GOOD THINGS HAS TADASE EVER DONE. HE USES HOLY CROWN TO PROTECT HIMSELF AND AMU. IKUTO PROTECTS AMU AT THE RISK OF HIS LIFE. TADASE IS EVIL I MEAN TYRANT EVIL. IKUTO IS NOT EVIL. I won't be Tadase. In the manga, it is clear that Amu ends up with Ikuto. I don't know why the heck those people making the Anime made her with Tadase.
Also, Amu just loved Tadase's look but she aren't for his 'king dream'. However, she is touched Von Ikuto Von heart.

Du guys don't all seem so sure who she ends up with.. Well, to me I was rooting for Amu to end up with Tadase but instead in the Manga she ended up with Ikuto.. I was fine with that, just because he was using her at first doesn't mean his feelings will not change over time.. And we all should know that the creator of all this has to post the Manga before the anime, yall know that right? So the Anime really isn't all that accurate, the Anime leaves all sorts of details out. In the last chapter, it isn't exactly Wird angezeigt with who she end up, but it can be concluded that she loves Ikuto.

Amu can't decide who she likes best, she knows she likes Ikuto, and Tadese but she doesn't want to admit she likes Ikuto as he is always saying how they are enemys... In the beggining she ONLY likes Tadese, then in comes Ikuto, and then she begins to wonder about Kukai, so it isn't exactly known wether she winds up with Ikuto oder Tadese, all I know is that she won't admit she likes Ikuto and also really likes Tadese...

I can tell this because at the last episode amu's Amulet future shows her with wearing a wedding dress and ikato is also here and he owns the Lumpty key, the patner of Dumpty lock . It really wasn't specific in the anime. Ikuto sagte he needed to confess something then kissed her and left. In party he returned to see her again but nothing really happened oh but Tadase kissed her. But so did Ikuto so basicly she didnt wound up with anyone in the anime.

In the anime, it doesn't really tell us if she ends up with Ikuto oder tadase but it's leaning Mehr towards tadase.
In the manga, Shugo Chara encore chapter 4, when Ikuto comes back Amu realizes that he is her future (at the wedding it says so, while she is holding his hand.) In my opinion, I think Ikuto and Amu are better off together because she is Mehr open around Ikuto and also there are a lot Mehr scenes with them together. Also she let's him stay at her house. Whit tadase, she is Mehr shy around him and not as open. So in my own opinion, it should be Ikuto and Amu.

She doesn't end up with anyone in the Anime oder the manga. But it seems like people (i'm one of them) want amu to end up with ikuto, proven Von the number of Amuto fanfictions on many websites. Though some people still decide to pair with Tadase.

Im pretty sure she ends up with ikuto because in vol 11 of the Manga older tadase sees her and says "we meet again Amu-chan." wich implies that she hasn't seen her in a while so the obviously didn't get married so she ended up with ikuto

Well I just want to say that Ikuto didn't steal the lock from the Hotori family because it originally belonged to Aruto Tsukiyomi who gave it to Tadase's dad to take care of it then he gave it to Tadase but it is rightfully Ikuto's and Amu has the lock cause it was gegeben to her she is also the rightful owner of the lock. In the Anime Ikuto and Amu are destined to be together cause of the lock and the key which match each other. And without the lock and key then they won't have transformed into Seven Seas Treasure and Amulet Fortune. Also Ikuto was not using Amu he was forced into finding the Embryo and did not use her at all.

Either (even though I want her to be with Ikuto)! It would really depend on Peach-pit and who they were trying to put together, but it does seem like Tadase is closer to her.

I think that the creators wanted to leave the ending to the viewers, but personally I don't understand how an elementary school student could have a working relationship with a high schooler that's, what? Seventeen? I mean I like ikuto, but for Amu I think Tadase is a better choice. Can someone explain to me why Du voted for amuto? I can't come up with a reason.

In the Manga its clear she Liebe Ikuto and he did say he loved her , but they never actually get together . Its up to the reader to figure out . Personally I think one Tag she will meet up with him in the future . She doesn't end up with Tadase . In the Manga she admits she doe not want to be with him . So Du can rule him out . The only opinion is she never sees Ikuto and again oder she finds him again .

I beleive it is Ikuto eventhough Tadase-kun confesses to Amu-chan (please notice not Amulet Heart) They do go on dates and they have been chosen the best couples but later on she is nearer to Ikuto than to Tadase

Well, trying to sum it up..
Amu's Liebe for Tadase were a welpe love, the kind where Du try to look your best.
Amu weren't in Liebe with Ikuto from the start, there for, she could yell at him, she could be her honest true self, not Schauspielen all sweet. There for her Liebe for him could be deeper, because she felt at ease not having to pretend to be some one..
While Tadase after turning her down, started to be interested when her feelings for Ikuto started to develop. But Tadase were mainly interested in one of the persons she could be,(with Ran) the happy go lucky girl, he admired the kind of person she were with that, so it weren't really Liebe at then, but he slowly starts to feel 'love' for the real Amu, which also Ikuto had started to, there for telling her to grow up faster, so that she would bee in a Mehr suitable age and understand his feelings towards her.
I'm following the manga, which came first, and didn't remove oder add characters and stuff..'' (just so Du know)
Amu had many moments with Ikuto, I don't remember if they all where there in the Anime but like..

Amu ends up with Ikuto. In the manga, Amu realises that she never really liked Tadase for himself, but for his outer character when she didn't really know him. Then later in Shugo Chara Encore, Nikaido and Sanjo get married, and in that scene, Amu thinks about her future with Ikuto and hopes she gets married to him. Then it zooms out to the crowd around Amu and shows Ikuto and Amu from the future. Future Amu tries to walk up to Present Amu, but Future Ikuto stops her and says "Shh.." They're married in the future.

In the Anime it was never specified gegeben the last episode of Shugo Chara Party though it looks as if they were leaning towards Tadase. This however varied from the original story line because in the Manga (the real thing) she definitely ended up with Ikuto, she realized she loved him and at the end chapter of Encore they are seen holding hands. I also personally like Ikuto allot Mehr than Tadase as Tadase doesn't seem to care about Amu's feelings at all. Tadase likes someone that she is not and he hurt her so many times unlike Amuto who actually care about each other and like each other for who they are on the inside. Ikuto is also the only one who Amu can fully be her true self around. Amu also finds Tadase's true self really freaky. The fact that the Anime and Manga ended differently proves that the creators of the Anime simply preferred Tadase and they actually left out parts of the story line that were Amuto in a desperate bid to try and make Tadase Mehr favorable. It didn't work though :P.

At the end of Shugo chara the anime, it suggests that she is with Tadase and also shows that Ikuto is in Liebe with Amu yet Amu in confused and is trying to work out her feelings about her relationship with Ikuto. So in a way she ends up with no one, to our knowledge. In the Manga it is even harder to know who she ends up with. When she meets the Older Tadase ( not knowing who he is though) Older Tadase says to Amu," I Can't Believe My Eyes, We Meet again, Amu-chan." and when the Older Tadase is talking to Kiseki he refers to Amu as "That Girl from back then." For Ikuto it is much the same, for one he is travelling around the world with the concurs, and when Amu sees Ikuto (whilst travelling on the road of stars though the time rifted). she sees Ikuto and says to the older Tadase, "Right now I'm happy to have seen Ikuto. But I get the feeling that I shouldn't see him Again." But in saying that at Nikaidou and Sanjo's wedding, both Ikuto and Tadase catch Amu when she falls after finding out that Nadeshiko is actually Nagihiko, both Ikuto and Tadase catch her from falling then fight about who should let go of her first. As this is the last page of the last chapter in shugo chara. It allows Du to decide who Amu ends up with.

to Kommentar on x-Yumi-x3 comment, the last page of the Anime is not Amu and Ikuto in the future, it's still the same wedding, Ikuto's mum was standing near, then Aruto, Ikuto's father shows up. They look happy. so basically the Manga doesn't say thay Ikuto and Amu will also be together in the future. The whole story is about making up your very own ending(that lameass picturebook that ended with a blank page), sure it sucks and makes for a terrible ending since there is none however this is rather rare; the main goal of the Anime and Manga is to make the viewers/readers' imagination working, to feel inspired and fired up enough to, yeh, come up with your own ending. Though in my very own opinion it's not spelled out that Ikuto and Amu will be together it feels like it's what the Autor would like too(IkutoAmu moments are way kühler and deep and they have the last moment of the Manga together), it's true that they are connected Von destiny and all that.

Amu end up with Ikuto in the Manga and in the Anime she end up with Tadase.

Here are my reasons to why I believe she ends up with Ikuto in both the Manga and anime:

Before I start, let me just say that some of these reasons are reasons why I think they belong together. Others are reasons to back up that they do end up together even though it doesn't Zeigen it! :) Though... this is mostly for the Anime since we all already know that she almost directly states that she chooses him in the manga.

ღ-Amu is a Libra and Ikuto is a Sagittarius. Libra and Sagittarius are a match made in the stars. A Libra and a Sagittarius of opposite genders are just meant to be Von fate!

ღ-Amu was born in September, so her birthstone is a sapphire. And what color is Ikuto's eye? Sapphire of course!

ღ-The Humpty lock can only be opened when the holder of it embraces and understands the holder of the Dumpty Key. (Which is Ikuto!) And the key and lock can only be held Von true lovers. (This was from the manga. Since the lock and key're in the anime, too, it has to be true for that as well.)

ღ-Ikuto never sagte he'll never see her again in the anime. Though, he did tell her to "hurry up and grow up." implying that he'll be back for her. In the manga, he did say he'll never see her again but then later claimed that he'll make her fall in Liebe with him, also implying that he'll come back for her.

ღ-She saved his life, freed him from an evil corporation, and gave him freedom to travel the world. Not to mention that she's the Liebe of his life. Does it sound right that he'd just leave forever and act like nothing ever happened?

ღ-In episode 25, she states that Ikuto makes her herz race. Where as, Tadase and Kukai, didn't have any other reason than "The one I like is Tadase, right?" oder "Kukai can be manly at times." Thus, implying no back-up reasons.

ღ-Sure she's a little different in the Manga than the anime. But she's still the same character. So when she sagte that Ikuto jumped into her herz in the manga, she had to of thought that at the Anime at one point. Even if it wasn't shown.

ღ- Amu's name starts with A and Ikuto's starts with I. What does that spell in Japanese? Ai = Love! :3

ღ-I could but wrong, but I don't think there's any Tadamu merchandise. There's a lot of Amuto merchandise though!

Lastly, even though I sagte this multiple times but not directly, it doesn't Zeigen that she ends up with him. But she does end up with him, regardless. So it's an ending to imagine, but still happens.

I'd say Ikuto-kun would be my 110% best choice he's got the looks, attitude and everything. I just hate the fact that Amu-chan is just being too clingy on Tadase and can't seem to see Ikuto-kun's true feelings-- geez that girl's clueless (I have to admit Du guys) After all people say the mangas are way kühler than the Anime because the Manga has all the complete scenes

okay so i read this on the episode Liste information thing so i haven't seen it but in the last episode of shugo chara party (season 3) something happens with ikuto and amu and tadase comes and says hell never leave her and that he loves her and kisses her on the cheek, so im guessing they end up together, SUCK IT AMUTO FANS! I would go for Tadase and Amu, because they will make a cute couple. Tadase is kind and strong in the inside and very cute in the outside. That is why they were made for each other. In the anime, the Dumpty key was stolen Von Ikuto. The Dumty key was Tadase's which he had Lost so Tadase and Amu was supposed to transform together not Ikuto. These are the best reasoned I have to convince all of yous that Tadase and Amu makes a cute couple, but there are many for reasons other than this, so please go for Tadase. This is my opinion, so those of yous who are an Amuto Fan plz forgive me.

Amu and Ikuto was a couple in the end of Shugo Chara Encore! There is actually a wiki about it and it is confirmed that AMUTO is a THING NOW!!!!

I know in the Anime they leave this Frage mostly unanswered. Tadase kisses Amu, but if Du want the real answer, Amu and Ikuto get married and we see Iruto, Ikuto's father with his mother in the background proving he's not actually missing. So that could be the answer if your asking about the manga, otherwise Tadase is Amu's choice.

First of all, Tadase only liked her because of her Amulet Heart. Pretend if she didn't had it, would Tadase still liked her? NO. Second, on white Tag (Anime) he sagte ''would Du let me fall in Liebe with you?" but he also sagte Amulet herz was a part of her. Also people who say the Dumpty Key was stolen yes it wad but if Du ever watched the Anime in the last episode in the end of Shugo Chara Doki! Tadase says Ikuto can keep the key. And also, Ikuto loves every part of Amu not 1 part. He also understands her feelings. I understand that this issue is highly debated but evidence is evidence. The Anime didn't specify because I believe it was targeting a younger audience than the manga.... but there were certain similarities to the manga. Example:Ikuto licks her ear, catches her in the park, the whole ice cream thing when she's with Tadase, sleeping beside each other, shields her in battle, the whole Lock & Key thing (which is a pretty big deal), Amu reaching out to hug Ikuto, Amu genuinely worrying about Ikuto (and no not like when she's with Tadase and she freaks out like a 5 Jahr old LOL - these are 2 different types of worrying) etc.
Not to mention, in the final episode of the series, it's mainly Ikuto & Amu. Ikuto also uses a line from the Manga when he tells her to "hurry up and get older".... in the Manga he actually sagte "I'll come back for Du when you're older". I believe that also is to prevent confusing younger audiences.
Basically, when Du compare the Amu+Ikuto romance vs. Amu+Tadase romance there is no competition, in both the Manga & anime. There's hardly any real romance oder actual grown-up feelings between Amu and Tadase. Meanwhile, Ikuto and Amu both found themselves learning from one another; she was the first girl he liked and made an effort with (according to his sister), and he was the first person to invoke grown-up thoughts in Amu's mind. In fact, Tadase was just a crush to Amu.... I believe Nadeshiko even told Amu in the first season that she was only attracted to his "outward character", then Amu admitted it to herself later on.
**Oh and one Mehr thing after I read a few Mehr answers!! If Du want to compare who loved Amu Mehr and which guy had the best motives for the embryo, that's also no competition!
Meaning, Tadase fell for Amulet herz (even tried to buy Amu a hair pin to match A.H.) THEN started to like Amu. Not to mention, Tadase wanted to find the embryo for worl dominations... not exactly a noble cause LOL!
Meanwhile, Ikuto loved Amu herself, from the beginning. Ikuto was also ashamed of his actions and associations with Easter but really wanted the embryo to escape that life and learn Mehr about himself... I think that might be better than world domination, ne?

Woah there are a lot of arguments here about who does Amu end up with! First, let me state this CLEARLY, the Manga is the ORIGINAL VERSION of Shugo Chara until some nutto said" Hey let us make an Anime about this and change some stories!"
In the last encore chapter it is ALL ABOUT AMUTO. Age difference doesn't matter at all, plus the age gap is only 4-5 years, not that much. In Hollywood stars datum old people a lot. Liebe can conquer anything! Tadase and Amu's relationship is what Du call teenage love. Tadase rejected Amu TWICE. First saying he is likes another girl, Sekunde is Amulet Heart. Did he like Amu on the first place? NO. Ikuto did! In the anime, they did not clearly state who Amu will end up with though there is 50% she will be with Ikuto and 50% she will be Tadase. We don't know unless some one asks the director. Ikuto and Amu's Liebe is Mehr deeper and mature, they care about each other. When there is trouble Ikuto will save Amu while Tadase is yelling like a girl in the corner and took the credit for saving Amu when Ikuto was the one. *Sigh* Sorry Tadamu Fans but Amu ends up with Ikuto. Seriously, how can Amu still like a person who rejected her TWICE? Impressive. Tadamu is what Du call welpe love, Amu only adores Tadase's face, not the inside character. *Tut tut tut Amu. Don't judge a book Von its cover* Personally, I think the chance of Amu and Ikuto together is bigger than Tadamu. But Tadamu Fans can say it is Tadase and Amuto Fans can say it's Ikuto. :)

If Du go Von the anime, it's a lot Mehr open. Obviously it was changed up from the manga. However, the Manga is the original and if Du go Von the ending of the manga(Shugo Chara Encore), Amu ends up with Ikuto. As others have already explained, at one point, Amu stated that while she liked Tadase for his outer character, Ikuto had somehow found his way into her heart. And during the Road of Stars, it is hinted that Tadase and Amu do not end up together because future Tadase says that the two of them have not seen one another in a long time.

If that wasn't clear enough, Shugo Chara Encore makes it even Mehr clear. There is nothing romantic that happens in Encore between Amu and Tadase. Their interaction is completely platonic, just like two friends. In fact, Amu is seen sad and down about Ikuto not having returned from searching for his father yet. She misses him and is wondering if he'll really come back for her. Just as she is wandering around town, depressed and lonely, Ikuto shows up and surprises her. They go back to the amusement park where Ikuto first took her a long time Vor and he ends up Küssen her nose after promising to always come back for her when she has had time to grow up. While they're all attending the wedding, Tadase has a conversation with Ikuto, stating "I only want Amu to be happy. If Du make her unhappy...well...". It's clear here that even Tadase accepts Ikuto as the one Amu loves. After that point, Amu and Ikuto are shown holding hands and Amu states that her future will be alright as long as she keeps "holding tight to that hand". When Amu tries to catch the bouquet of Blumen and slips, both guys are seen helping catch her. Tadamu Fans like to say this means the ending is left open, but it is not because, Von this point, it has already been established who it is that Amu has feelings for. That scene is merely there to add some light-heartedness to the ending.

I'm not totally sure who Amu ends up with but in my opinion, I would so much prefer it if she goes with Ikuto because he's sacrificed so much for her and for his family and friends, he may look like a jerk but in reality, he's just a really kind-hearted person, he reminds me of a cat so that would explain why Yoru is a cat.

Amuto Fans being all happy and shoving it in everyone's face that they end up together when that makes Amu a victim. He was already in high school when he met her and she was still in primary school. Idc what Du say, Tadase was the unproblematic choice, Ikuto shouldn't have been interested in her in the first place
