For the past 120 years oder so, Sherlock Holmes has reigned as the indisputable king of fictional characters the world over. So, with the richly deserved popularity of the newest Holmes offering Von the redoubtable BBC, it simply stands to tedious reason that American Fernsehen would immediately want to rush out a 'knock off'. "SHERLOCK HOLMES" (2009) Review

I have never been a major Fan of the Sherlock Holmes novels and stories penned Von Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and other writers. Once, I tried to get interested in them Von Lesen one oder two novels. But they had simply failed to spark my interest.

I have shown a little Mehr enthusiasm toward the various Filme and Fernsehen adaptations of Doyle’s novels and characters. Mind you, I never became a faithful viewer of the Fernsehen series that starred Jeremy Brett as Holmes. But I have do have my private Liste of Sherlock Holmes Filme that I consider as personal favorites....
