Bennitt sat beside her.

Elain leaned her head on his shoulder.

Bennitt rubbed her side.

She sighed.

Bennitt kissed her temple.

Elain smiled slightly.

"I'm sure you'll feel better soon."

"Probably."

Bennitt stroked her hair.

Elain hugged him tightly.

Bennitt hugged her back.

She sighed and went over to her bed, laying back. After a massive yawn. she curled on her side, looking at him with big blue doe-like eyes.

Bennitt laid down beside her.

Elain gave him a small smile and wrapped her arms around him.

Bennitt pulled her against his side.

She smiled and kissed his jaw lightly.

Bennitt smiled at her.

Elain smiled back brightly, and her face suddenly twisted. She hurled herself off the bed and ran to the toilet, puking.

Bennitt frowned and sat up.

"Oh shit." Her face turned an ugly shade of pale green and she puked again.

"Wow, you're really sick."

"You think?" There was a dash of teasing sarcasm in her voice, despite her current condition.

Bennitt went over to her and rubbed her back.

She grimaced and puked again.

"You need me to get you something?"

"Water, please"

"Alright." He went to get her a glass of water.

Elain slumped back against the toilet, closing her eyes.

Bennitt came back with water and handed her the glass.

Elain took it from him and took a large gulp.

Bennitt sat on the floor beside her.

She looked at him, her face's color returning to normal. (When should I have her find out? )

He stroked her hair.

Elain sighed. "I just don't know what's wrong with me."

"It'll be okay."

Feeling a small pressure against her side, she got up. "I'm going to the general store. Do you need anything specific?"

"Nah, I'm good."

"Okay." She left the room in a rush, hurried down the stairs and out the door to her car. A thought had been circling her head ever since Elizabeth barged in on them. Her words, I hope you two used protection, had been lingering on the edges of her mind. They, in fact, hadn't. She pulled up to the store and hurried inside. She grabbed a few pregnancy tests, paid, and left, her mind so off in another place that she almost forgot her bag and car keys.

Bennitt went to his room to wait for her.

Elain drove back to the institute and went inside quietly, hurrying to her room. If her suspicions were right, then who knew how Bennitt would react? She went to her bathroom and used the tests, all of them coming up positive. She squeaked.

Bennitt laid down in bed and stretched out, closing his eyes.

After gathering her courage, Elain walked quietly over to Bennitt's room and opened the door. She closed it quietly behind her and sat beside him, her hands on her stomach. "Bennitt?"

"Yeah?"

She cleared her throat. "I think I might possibly know why I've been puking."

"Really?" Bennitt sat up and put his arm around her.

She nodded once and looked down at her hands over her stomach.
