There is no date, looks like it's been written before the release of "The Deathly Hallows", as this book is not mentioned in the references, but honestly, the author is almost right on certain details - despite not knowing the end of the saga. Really, I'm intrigued. (Unless I missed something ?)

Yes, it's before the release of the Deathly Hallows, clearly, and I'd be interested in seeing a revision. Because while I understand (and agree with) many of the Planetary positionings and aspects, it unfortunately just makes him a pathetic prick, quite easy to hate and unworthy of sympathy. The problem is that when you have afflictions such as he appears to have (according to the Astrological chart), the events we know happened because of The Prince's Tale would have been impossible, because he would rather have died before going to Dumbledore to BEG for help; it would have been beneath him to do so, and in fact, an individual so afflicted would likely have left Lily to her fate, because he would have felt nothing but contempt for her after she hurt him so badly. He would have had no reason to betray the Dark Lord, because she would have been just another filthy little Mudblood. He certainly would not have spent any amount of time risking his life protecting her orphaned brat. I find it highly unlikely that he would even have given Lily Evans a second glance. That's the chart of someone who goes straight to being Voldemort's left hand man.

This is one of the reasons I don't put much stock in Astrology for fictional characters, because how the author feels about the character has far too much influence in their development, and we all know JK based Severus Snape on someone she hated.


There's a variety of Astrological disciplines, and they can not all be correct. For example, in "Sidereal Astrology", Severus is a Sagittarius! In Chinese Astrology, he's a Boar. In Celtic, he's link. Each one will give you something different, you can pick and choose what you want the stars to say about him, I suppose.
