It was earlier that Tag that Gryffindor and Slytherin had their first Quiddich match of the Jahr and Gryffindor had won. Severus said, "James isnt the whole reason your house won...Our team was just...tired thats all."
"Sev please don't start with James his not worth talking about, okay?" Severus had quickly changed the subject Von asking about her birthday. If she didn't want to talk about James Potter that was fine with him.
"I think I have an idea.." Severus sagte as they walked away from the schloss and towards the Black Lake. "For your birthday I mean."
Lily looked at him with curiousity gleaming in her smaragd eyes. as Severus gazed into them he was breathtaken Von them, her. "Meet me tomorrow? In the forest? Eleven."

"Okay wait here." Severus was standing a little ways from Lily in the forest. Sunlight streamed through the forest the leaves a glow and the sky blue as a robin's egg. The air was warm and Severus was seeing to it that Lily did not come any closer to his suprise. "Sev!" Lily sagte teasingly. "I'm sorry! this time I promise this is where I want Du to be." He hurried over to her a red cloth in his hands as he genlty wrapped it over her eyes so it woul act as a blindfold he sagte softly, "oh Lily I know Du will Liebe this. Come." He guided her gently Von the pale hand which was warm inside his. His herz pounded and his eyes searched greedily over her face, hair and the wide smile. "Okay i'll guide you, Du need to climb up sort of." As she did so he noticed a slight look of alarm on her face. "Don't worry you'll know what it is... now! Take off the blindfold." Lily's eyes widened. Severus was right in front of her on a hippogryph! A proud and beautiful creature kneeling down on the earth so that they could mount it. "You ready?" he sagte looking back at her. She nodded, she was so suprised she couldn't speak. Then, as the great creature sped vorwärts-, nach vorn Lily exclaimed with joy and excitment. Wrapping her arms firmly against Severus's waist. Startled at first but to his delight she hung tight. The rose higher into the air. Lily's laughing and excitment affected him too. He laughed and looked back to see her eyes, happier than they'd ever looked before. Her hair flying up around her. He felt her arms wrapped tightly around him. Gliding around the castle, throguh the trees, over the lake, and up around the clouds she let out cries of delight. As the sun began to melt into the earth the trees darkedned and the sky was peppered with stars. The ride Mehr calm now Lily was able to say, "Sev...?"
"Yeah Lily?"
"I Liebe you."
The hippogryph landed just then at a bank beside the lake. Severus and Lily laid down on the cool earth. Gazing deeply into her eyes. He said. "I Liebe Du too Lily. Happy Birthday."
